For all the flack Roy gets on here he is undoubtedly a great statesman for soccer worldwide and he is our manager. As a Palace fan that is something to be very proud of.

Can't say I'm overjoyed at the news but he will keep us up this season. His record at Palace is acceptable I guess, which makes it hard to argue against the extension.

It is all well and good saying get rid of Roy as you think he is useless but I can guarantee not one of you can come up with a better option at this present moment. One more post from me!!! How the hell can anyone be unhappy with this season???? Our biggest points tally in prem at this stage! Anyone slating us go and watch some season reviews from 2008 to 2011 You would have had something to worry about then

Given our current squad, I think Roy has done as good a job as anyone could expect. There may be other managers out there who could get more points out of this bunch, but I doubt it. Yes, we play painful football to watch at times, but I don't see any other alternative given our current roster.

Agree completely. Would be interesting to see for posters here 1) Do they have a season ticket ? 2) How long have they been supporting Palace.? If the answer to one is yes then if you consistently moan about the Roy and the football why not give up your season ticket so someone who does enjoy can attend. Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
