So he'll play fewer and we will buy without our hands tied behind our backs.

None of know if there are any clauses. All I know is he won’t be getting near the team all year bar a lot of injuries.

That's what I remember but perhaps it was changed as per the official link that bexleydave has pointed out I just read the other day that his parent club are angry he hasn't played any games, and that he is supposed to play min 15 games for us, and I believe something about the 15 games being a condition of weather we could sign him.

The Camarasa deal yet again sums up how much of a joke our clubs transfer dealing are. Why sign a loan player and not play him just incase we dont want him permanently, surely we wouldn't sign him on loan in the first place as it suggests he isnt good enough for us or wed be playing and buying him.

While I get as frustrated as anyone with Palace's approach to recruitment, loaning Camarasa made sense in a ' try before you buy ' sort of way. It's then up to the player to play his way into the team. He hasn't done that yet, but it's a long season. And with results being achieved without him, Hodgson isn't going to change for the sake of it.

I will leave to our Manager Roy to select the best team he has has available. Who would have thought Townsend, Meyer,Benedict would be on the bench at the start of the season and after eight games we beat West Ham and were forth in Premier League (for a short time). So what Camarasa a loan play is not selected.

Speculations already that Camarasa will leave in January. Watched him play in several games last season (Cardiff) - can not understand why he is behind Schlupp in the pecking order. The Spaniard is real class!

The Spaniard is real class! Last season he played 33 games for Cardiff and did well in a strugglig team. This season he has only featured in 2 games for us,started against Colchester and came on in the 85th minute at Tottenham. He probably regrets joining us and I wouldn't be surprised to see him move to pastures new in January. My understanding is that we paid a loan fee of £1.5 Mill with an option to buy for £15 Mill.At this juncture I cannot see us exercising that option.

Yet another case of Hodgson bringing in a new player and not playing them!
