Not moaning Midland, just can't see the point in slagging off players before the season commences which if you like is a debating point.

Seems a perfectly decent player to me, nothing special but I feel like we can rely on him to do a job. Don't get where the extreme dislike of some posters comes from.

Cheikhou is a good player gives us a bit of steel in midfield which we were missing on occasions, really happy he joined the club. Tomkins and Chek, 2 great signings from West Ham...

Tomkins unfortunately picks up his share of injuries. Not as many as Sakho and not made of glass like Wickham, but still too many for my liking.

Never seen him have a shocker, seen him have a couple of 8/10 games, otherwise solid and always puts the yards in at the minimum. For someone who's going to be starting probably half your games, that's perfectly acceptable. For the price we got him for, in today's climate, I don't think we can really complain. He's good value at <£10m.

When he plays he does a very good job of covering the back line, especially the fullbacks. Bags of energy, big physical presence and strong in the tackle. His weakness is probably his passing, but he keeps it simple he's fine. Very good signing in my opinion.

Would seem odd if we sold him, but I guess the agent (if true) is probably thinking more of his pocket and his client's game time than Palace.

Solid player with the best first touch of any player in the squad. Good passer and covers more ground than some of our other midfielders. He's not captain of Senegal for nothing, and one of the few good signings we've made in recent seasons. I doubt he'll be going anywhere.
