Well it all started in January 1968 when a rather handsome baby boy was named Michael.
His older brothers and sisters called him Mike, Chike, Pike, Pikey etc. and Pike/y stuck.

I joined here as Pikey_Eagle.
In 2000 and something the HOL went through a crazy spell where posters were allowed to change their name as often as they wanted. It was mainly for fun in Fun Talk and the Away Forum so people could pretend to be Mr Michael's mum, dad, cat etc.
Or Palace players/managers on Palace Talk.

The trouble was no one knew who was who anymore (read The Sneetches by Dr. Seuss to get the idea) so the owners set a deadline to give yourself a permanent username.
Being a bit rebellious I had changed my name to the more edgier Pikester in an attempt to attract female posters and ward off Cucking's unsolicited approaches (#metoo).

For some reason I didn't change it back and the rest is history....

Anyone still awake?
