Meh......I don't see anything special.

He still can prove himself though, just don't feel like he has yet.

The team could have played just as well with anyone there instead of Milivojevic. Yes, you could argue that since he arrived the result have gotten better. But I think that's because of other factors: the team finally playing with a left footed leftback (PVA or Schlupp), Townsend and Zaha playing on the right sides, Cabaye and Puncheon doing a lot of pressing.....

Milivojevic is highly rated by many of you, but let's just give him a full season before we make an ultimate judgement. Same thing with Sakho, please don't argue to spend 20 million+ on him just based on 10 matches.

You clearly don't know what you are talking about.

If only it were White, rather than Yellow!

I'm just saying he doesn't still do the same pressing that got him to be the best player in the world 7-8 years ago.
He doesn't even work as hard as 2-3 years ago.

Are you saying he's flawless? To be the best in the world you need to do more than just score. He used to be, but not anymore

Ok. Clearly, someone like Carrick, Busquets and Milivojevic is the epitome of success in a team and I can't see it

Well you said we could have played as well with anyone there. So you'd be happy to dtop Milivojevic for say Ledley or Lee? Ooh! Ooh! Mutch?

Bollocks.

Is this a fair question?
Since you'll just bash anything I say, I should just avoid it. Everyone will say it's bollocks anyway

If you had said we might play as well with *someone* else there you might have made a sensible argument, but it's clear from everything else you said that you thought Milivojevic hasn't shown exceptional talent. And that, Sir, is bollocks.

And we don't have a full season to decide if he's up to snuff - the fat lady sings in six weeks or so.

I think he's been great. Wins the ball tackle/interception lays it off and gets back into position.
Like Sakho has made Tomkins 20% better, because he trusts Sakho.
Luka has done the same for Cabaye.

I am surprised you cannot see what Luka brings, although it is not spectacular it is very evident what he is doing and bringing to the team.
We are not talking about the type of player like David Wright who some people thought was doing something but when studied did not really do anything (apart from one game), Luka does it all quietly and efficiently and you do not have to look too hard to see it.

Like you I had to read his quote twice to get my head around it.I think he has all the qualities of Jedi without the errors, i.e poor passing and giving fouls away in dangerous areas. If he carries on playing as well as this we will do well to keep hold of him.

He's scored 27 goals in 27 games this season. 8 more than Ronaldo and is the leagues top scorer....but this isn't good enough for you? Reminds me of mourino telling hazard he had to defend more last season. That worked. .

I have been reflecting back to last year when my wife and I went on a cruise and one of the stops was Athens. The port is actually in Piraeus and we got a bus into Athens. I knew that Olympiakos actually played in Piraeus and I asked the chap selling bus tickets about the club. Didn't quite understand at the time but I now believe he was 'Waxing lyrical' about Luka. The bus from the port took us past the Olympiakos stadium.

Luka has been a terrific signing. We needed a 'Jedi' in that vital 'Engine room' and my word we have got a helluva player.

sure flamini will leave us close season, not sure who we will bring in as back up for Luka, but Sam def has to look at that. Maybe that's why we've been linked with Sissoko, but he'll not sit on our bench....hmm
