How long before the arresting officers are charged with Islamophobia and there is a multi-million pound inquiry into 'institutional racism' in the police force involved. Well they weren't on the other occasions he was arrested and investigated, so I doubt they will be this time either. Obviously the pr*ck will allege that, but then those on the assorted far right always seem to like to defend the unacceptable with rhetoric, rather than factual evidence.

"Britain first" has been on this pric*s case for sometime in a campaign to get hate preachers like him of our streets, good news. Extremists against Extremism, says all you need to know about Britain First. I don't really see a difference between them and the Islam4UK etc, other than maybe Britain First, except that Britain First hide behind an agenda of UK Nationalism to pursue their fundamentalist agenda. Just a different flavor of hate. You do. You just pretend you don't so that you can earn a few more PC house-points.

No, its just more a case that idiot pr*cks keep posting and reposting far right Britain First s**t on facebook, where as no one I know seems to be posting pro-Islamic fundamentalist nonsense. Much like with Islam, I can see the difference between being Muslim and a Islamic Fundamentalist, and being Christian and being a Christian Fundamentalist. I guess that the Christian Fundamentalist sh1t just poses much more of a threat to the 'British Way of Life' than Islam ever could. Notably, Political Correctness isn't a point scoring system, it was never really ever aimed at people like me who tend towards being socially liberal (I'm not a liberal per se, but I am socially liberal) and tolerant in their views, but those who harbor degrees of unconscious prejudice inherent in society. Political Correctness is a means of social engineering intolerance in society, not producing points for liberal. I quite enjoy political incorrectness, safe in my post-modern ironic irony tower. Well Jamie if our useless justice system and police force would do something about the very real problem of Islamic extremism then groups like Britain First wouldn't need to exist, but as our police force are so scared of being branded racist, they do nothing and just arrest the people who speak out against Islamic extremism. Another problem is the weasel like human rights lawyers who stop the likes of Choudry etc being extradited. So wether you like them or not, at least BF stands up against these terrorists.

Choudary the C..T has just been nicked.
Extradited, you can't deport someone who is a British Citizen by birth. The bloke is a prick, and if he's broken the law, he should be tried for that crime within the statute of laws, as anyone else should be. Of note, he has been arrested before on several occasions and investigated at least twice by the police, but in those instances no crimes had been committed.

Terrorist offences have universal jurisdiction, so he could be tried here. The Gary McKinnon case wasn't really about Asperger's. Interestingly the ECHR had rejected McKinnon's appeal, and it was Teresa May as Home Secretary who interved directly. The key wasn't that he had Aspergers, but that the high degree of certainty that he would commit suicide in the US Prison service due to the inability of the US prison service to cope with his disorders (Aspergers and Depression). Fundamental to the McKinnon case, was the US plea bargaining system, which doesn't exist in the UK and the severity of the sentence (70 years or 8-10 years with a plea - but that would require him agreeing to him waiving legal rights over extradition proceedings) for what would have probably been a minor case under UK law (either a suspended sentence or diminished responsibility). Its worth noting that McKinnon was guilty of the offences in question, and had hacked into very secure intelligence and defense systems, and left messages and threats, whilst allegedly searching for information on UFOs, and the Asperger's defense is itself fairly questionable (fortunately for McKinnon the US legal system has a terrible reputation with mental illness and the prison systems are even worse). But really what saved him from extradition was public pressure on the government. Had he been tried for a similar offence in the UK, its likely the Asperger's defense and UFO claims would have been mocked in the media (given the evidence of taunting the Systems admins and threats left on the system, suggesting that he knew exactly what he was doing).

Regardless of politics in this country, I will be heartily celebrating if Choudary gets jailed and we never hear of his twisted religious poison ever again. He's a piece of sh!t who has gotten away with murder for too long.
