This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle 'The man should keep his opinions to himself and his mouth he himself' says Tommy. His rather interesting take on freedom of speech. Words aren't justification for violence, and if the politics were turned on their head, the excusing would turn into condemnation for that very reason. There was no physical threat to him as the guy wasn't anywhere near him. It wasn't self defense and it's cowardly to punch a person from behind. His version of events is just that, not gospel, and holds less weight in isolation than actual footage of a physical attack. No wife can be seen, though of course she always gets dragged in as the get out card, in a cliched 'defending the missus' angle. "I'm not going to wait for him to attack me". Yes, probably because there was no indication that he intended to. It could be that there's more here than meets the eye, but currently it's patently absurd to declare Tommy as somehow wronged just because he uploaded a video saying he is. If we're going to highlight these milkshake assaults for what they are, an attitude that crowbars in 'Oh, but it's fine to punch someone if..' doesn't pass muster. The process of routinely substituting principle for 'How do I win this argument', or here 'How do I justify violent behaviour because of my feelz towards this person or their politics' is a poor exchange. If a few provocative words turn him violent then politics probably isn't the job for him. Snowflake. Robinson needs to get a handle on his behaviour as this stuff won't lead anywhere positive for him. It's clear why the likes of Nigel Farage think it's a mistake to get tied up with him. The voting public appear to agree. I have a certain admiration for anyone sticking to their guns in the face of serious opposition no matter if I agree with them or not, but this doesn't help him, or any cause that he professes to hold dear. Punching an England fan from behind while out in Portugal is a long way from highlighting grooming gangs. Many in the public eye are part cause, part brand. He's drifting too far to the latter. When he's eventually filmed knocking someone out while out with his hangers on and the victim ends up with brain damage, or swings at the wrong person, and ends up on a feeding tube, I'll at least be on record as highlighting the absurdity of what apparently passed as acceptable prior to it. The same applies to any idiot who swings at Tommy due to his 'opinions' or 'mouth'. A behaviour that the man himself apparently thinks is absolutely fine. Edited by dollardays (08 Jun 2019 2.35pm)

As for being brainwashed. You call a man a fascist who has been filmed burning the Nazi flag.....the guy's pro Israeli and you come on here and call him a fascist. You call a man a racist who has had black friends for donkey years.....a guy who started the EDL with black people. You don't know anything about Robinson other than what your 'hate' media tells you. So don't talk to me about brainwashing. Edited by Stirlingsays (07 Jun 2019 7.24pm) WTF? What I can see is that Mr Yaxley-Lennon walked up to someone and hit him from behind, with the oral support and physical presence of a bunch of what certainly appears to be thugs. And you suggest that someone on HOL should go and have it out with him (''go tell him to his face''). Well, that would go well. Approaching a convicted violent criminal with a large entourage of similar individuals. Why on Earth does anyone support this man? I am genuinely surprised at you. Edited by Mapletree (08 Jun 2019 1.12pm) That's what you got from that link? It wasn't what I saw. Anyway, if he did anything inappropriate or unreasonable I'm sure we will hear about it. As for that Laddo fella. He's the one on here chiming in at me with big talk about Robinson. I'm simply telling him what I'd tell anyone who wants to waffle about pricks or c***s to me. If you want to talk like a warrior go and be a warrior. Don't post at me swearing about how much you dislike someone....it has nothing to do with me. Go and talk to Robinson about it. I also do not agree with your characterisation of Robinson as a violent criminal. This guy has had to put up with idiots with big talk coming up to him for years now and with the number of death threats he and his family receive and recent attacks and I read what you guys say and I think it's disconnected from reality. As for why I support Robinson, we have gone over that.

Yeah, agree with this. I saw a completely solo Robinson (some random stranger recognised him in the beginning and puts an arm around) confronting someone in a group who is insulting him. He says repeatedly "Which of you said that" to which the offender turns around a couple of times mouthing off. On the hatrick, TR pings him, just once, and Sparx the c*** who then can't get up. No follow up which I feel is very restrained and old school, deserves respect. At least TR has the stones to stand up for himself, even when outnumbered like here. Have you seen the video of when a group of about 8 antifa jump him at McDonald's? TR takes it to them, comes out a little worse off, but chases them off like a one man army. He's a hero and a patriot.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle To say Robinson isn't violent is a bit strange as he has 2 convictions for assault. One on a policeman who was trying to stop him beating up his girlfriend !.
