Looks like he (and his agents) are treating the Palace offer as a place of last resort if all more attractive destinations fail on money or level of competition grounds
I can see his reputation and Parish's reputations getting trashed as he contributes less and less and the club gets relegated over the next four years
Of course, he could just have been offered a one-year deal on 50,000 per week. Nothing definitive has been announced, has it?

That's hard to turn down for anyone. I wouldn't blame him. Sh1t football and sh1t country but who cares.

Buh..buh... but... Zaha said he wanted Champions League football, clearly in his mind and reality this was something that CPFC couldn't offer him in the span of his already dwindling career. Nothing to do with achieving pay parity with the club's biggest earner, Benteke, no siree, certainly not. Champions League or be damned.
Now of course if their are genuine contract offers from CL clubs and Zaha chooses Saudi, then we know he's a fraud just after the £££.
I suspect a CL club and league that would match his current level would be the Turkish one, certainly not Napoli who are way above his current level and the fans have great expectations and are a rather excitable lot, if he offers up his usual lacklustre game he'll come in for a lot of flack.

Yeah. It would be good if Parish would announce that WZ is a free agent and the club is not interested in offering him a contract.

In Saudi Arabia, unmarried couples aren't allowed to live together, nor are they allowed to share hotel rooms. According to the laws, when checking in, hotels are required by law to obtain the Saudi national IDs of the couple and ensure that the Mahram relation (married) exists between them.

Maybe that just applies to Saudi Nationals . i dont know , I do remember Peter Crouch got in trouble for going back to some bird hotel and had to wait i reception for her .

Fernerbache are in trouble with UEFA & FIFA for playing in a tournament in Russia, who are banned from partaking in any form of competitive matches/competitions & other clubs outside the country are not allowed to play Russian teams.

Now, to me, that would not be a good destination for Wilf as possible sanctions would ruin his 'dream'

 

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Does not have to be hostile either. Can be a plain stated fact that the club have to prepare for next season and Wilf has a huge impact on what we do. I’ve no idea how long they’d be willing to give him but I’d like to see them say ‘by ‘x’ date we’ll withdraw offer if no decision from your side and we’ll move on’

Of course they may well have done this or something else could be in place, I’ve no idea. I’m just hoping the announcement of Zaha isn’t withheld to try and mitigate ill feeling from a barren transfer window.

 

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

If I was wilf I wouldn't think twice about going to Saudi for a year of two with all the money being offered.

He will probably rejoin us in two years when he gets homesick being away from Croydon. And nothing would have changed club wise...still finishing 12th and knocked out of cups early.
