Amped up identity politics of all shades turn most people of all races off. This received media attention on account that it's viewed as such. 'Progressive' to the point of extremely regressive. Both those bothering parents with this insulting 'whiteness' nonsense, and their mirror image, the racial inadequates head counting non-whites at every turn and using this stuff as a recruitment tool for their own warped take on race are equally boring and misguided. They both fall foul of 'pick your own reality' social media bubbles that normalise their ridiculous behaviour and replace the kinds of relationships and compromises that exist within the lives of normal people. Ultimately anyone, black or white, who views their race as the most important aspect of who they are has learned very little about life or people and will inevitably attempt to coerce others into the same pathetically weak and divisive outlook they themselves fell victim to.
I don't disagree with anything you say. I do though go one step further. If, as is generally agreed, we ought not judge people by their skin colour why do we still use it to classify them? I know it's a simple division to make, so easy to understand, but that automatically makes it divisive. There are so many shades, levels, ethnicities, cultures and mixtures involved that to suggest there are "white" or "black" races is plainly inaccurate. What there is though is racism based on the perceptions of skin colour. I don't blame people for this. It's a societal problem as the media and government use the terminology. I also know I am ploughing a lonely furrow but I do hope it is recognised and changed. We managed to change the language we use to describe the mentally ill, those with different sexual orientations etc. Why not this too?

Racial division is largely driven by minorities. 99.9% of the majority White population are not concerned with skin colour, but many of them are concerned with the ever growing list of issues surrounding certain immigrant populations of varying 'colours'.

All you are doing here is continuing the problem. Even if, for argument's sake, what you suggest is correct why lump everyone with darker skin than you into a negative classification? If a group of people are responsible then use terms that accurately describe them. It would still be stereotyping but more specific stereotyping. Using blanket terms like "black" and "white" just add to the problems and do nothing to solve them. So why use them?

White people are having identity politics used against them and it's been going on in the mainstream for a decade now. Hence, unless they start using it themselves as a much larger block they will continue to lose. The mainstream right are scared to use identity politics even if they notice it used against them and they metaphonically close their door hoping it goes away. I agree with them that identity politics isn't nice and that it divides....and that there will always be that element who take it too far. However, if whites don't start standing up against the institutional and corporational lies and mistreatment, it's only going to get worse. History teaches that if a group doesn't represent and assert itself will quickly be removed from relevance and power....first by demonisation and then legally. Some on the right point to the hypocrisy and absurdity on the mainstream left when they advance identity politics....but the left don't listen and frankly don't care. All they care about is whether the tactic wins for them, nothing else....they have plenty of liars to cover for them and they know the right will run for cover frightened of the 'racist' slur.....which is used as an anti white insult. The main liar on here suggested that the link I provided was a small group of extremists. Really? Well I clearly explained that this was a college curriculum actually in use written by a associate professor at a main New York university. If he thinks that these are extremists, then they are extremists provided with elite level mainstream jobs paid good wages producing 'racist' anti white materials with no pushback from government. He apparently claims that anti white racism isn't real....strange, I have multiple proof of it I could post as I have posted it here in the past....but liars don't care so what's the point. These are Democrats allowing this and all you hear from the 'moderate Democrats' is silence.....because essentially all their egalitarian stuff is basically expedient crap that is only used when they feel under attack.....not to be used when they hold power....then it becomes about 'equity'. I am very very far from being the least bit divisive in my everyday life. Quite the opposite in fact. I am a healer and a peacemaker by nature. That this board (not the others on this site) is very divided between those on the hard right and the rest of humanity that division has nothing at all to do with me. It just is. I am also not actually complaining about people being divisive over this issue. I am forgiving them as I regard it as a societal issue, one that exists in the mainstream and not just on the fringes. Whilst I anticipate that some here will be the last to acknowledge my argument, and the slowest to change my hope is that the mainstream will rather sooner.

Are you of the belief that following a crime the highlighting of the colour of the perpetrators(s) whether white or black or brown or yellow wouldnt help eliminate a huge part of the population and aid the catching of said individuals?

Edited by Stirlingsays (19 Feb 2021 1.43pm) I'll not answer this point by point as the lack of veracity for these various assertions will be self-evident to any objective thinker. Nor will I respond in kind to the personal insults and slurs for they too can be judged on their merits. I will though just point out that my remarks on a "small group of extremists" had nothing to do with any links provided by this poster. They were about the reports by another on something they witnessed in NY.
