At least the vote was close. I think I have a similar number of people coming to my wedding. Congratulations - the main question is, is she a Palace fan?

The little twerp got hammered. Even change UK and the almost deceased UKIP got more votes. A total and complete rejection of his ideology and methods. I am glad to see he got put right where he belongs, near the back end. Edited by Maine Eagle (27 May 2019 12.52am) He got the same share of the vote as Change UK despite having all his social media removed, leaflets dumped by the Royal Mail, payment software removed, and virtually zero national coverage. A stark contrast to Change UK which had full mainstream media backing. The Greens took the eighth seat with 216k votes so he was never really going to win anyway.

Could care less what change uk did, they ran a muddled campaign and will align with the lib dems soon enough. This thread is about tommy robinson, not change uk. Some of my hope for the country has returned in seeing him get utterly trounced in this election and be a total non factor. His bile and hatred was rejected comprehensively.

Yeah, but these guys aren't interested, they support all that. Reality gets in the way of a good virtue signal.

Maybe But I’m afraid no matter which way you spin it, it’s not great, just validated my own points of view around him - he’s not savvy, PR friendly or strategic enough to do any better. He’ll keep on going but to what end? His race is run

Do you actually know what you are talking about? Most of the bile and hatred comes from you lot.

He’ll keep on going but to what end? His race is run I agree with you to an extent....he needs to get out, though I don't blame him personally. The first pushback was always going to come from within the community that can't just move to a nice area and pretend. He is what he is...the wrong face and class perhaps...but the only one brave enough to push back on the streets. He's at a time where the zeitgeist is one of delusion and denial. He needs to move aboard, the environment will be different once the realities hit the nicer areas.....a couple of decades perhaps or even sooner. Edited by Stirlingsays (27 May 2019 2.04pm)

It's got everything to do with Change UK as it's a good comparable to measure his success. One man, with all the restrictions mentioned, got the same share as a political party with many high profile politicians, daily media coverage and probably a million pounds of financial backing. Getting "trounced" would be getting 2k votes like other independents. Not similar shares of the vote to two mainstream parties (Change and UKIP) despite being hamstrung. This further shows your contempt for the working class. Edited by Penge Eagle (27 May 2019 2.44pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (27 May 2019 2.04pm) I’ve seen more Muslim dressed women in Caterham since I mentioned it before. It won’t be just a few. It’ll be loads and loads, then a majority in the primary schools. Oh, sounds familiar, happening in Croydon North. Bye bye Christian England or secular England built on Christian values. Hello chaos and a demanding community with segregation cropping up everywhere. Maybe being part of the EU and moving to somewhere else hundreds of miles and a flight away from friends and family isn’t so bad when they’re thinking of moving away in the future anyway and options of other towns further away are running out.

What 'bile and hatred'? Do you actually know what you are talking about? Most of the bile and hatred comes from you lot. You lot - what lot is that then Stirlingsays? What I have seen from a certain lot is a lot of milkshakes, that is for certain. Tommy and UKIP were non factors in this election, you must accept that.

Edited by Penge Eagle (27 May 2019 2.44pm) Will have to tell my old man and some of my mates that I have contempt for the working class, they may be shocked to hear it. You don’t half talk a lot of s***e. You could also compare Tommy to the Brexit party then couldn’t you? How did he do compared to them? His only restrictions are his views, ethos, methods and personality, plus his intellect.
