My local post box I am told it is called yarn bombing. It has been that way for 2 weeks pleasantly surprised that some yob hasn't wrecked it. Attachment: 20221210_132837.jpg (7,474.09Kb)

Quite a bit of snow left from Saturday & Sunday. Refuse trucks, postmen (when they're not on strike) and other deliveries cancelled to remote areas. Very much some hacked off people who won't get deliveries of logs/gas cylinders/oil until after Christmas. Beautiful environment, but can turn extremely hostile in cold weather. A nice bit of English quirkiness! So I have been informed, yarn bombing in villages is actually a thing. Anyway it looks great and hasn't been messed up so kudos to whoever knitted it.

I got my tree from the Christmas tree farm this year. You walk around with a ribbon amongst the trees, then they cut yours down for you, wrap it, and help you to the car. If you have kids it would be a day out. As it was, it was me and the missus, and, of course, we had to get the perfect tree. We thought it was maybe 7-8 foot, but was actually over 9. 70 euro. Where did you get the scaffolding from to decorate it ?
