Big fan of Gary Neville as a co-commentator, reads our game so well. What he said about Eze's lack of off the ball movement is bang on. Area of his game that needs work.

Might not be ezes choice. Its all about defending remember! Stick rigid so he can defend when needed.

McCarthy adding a bit more to the game than Riedewald

He’s a better player

Except for his desire to constantly pass sideways or backwards. He certainly adds more bite though.

Compared to our recent performances and considering the quality of the opposition, 1000% improvement. Another gem of a save from Guaita!

Their central defence is an accident waiting to happen.
McGuire is so arrogant.
As I said before the game - we need to get at them

Much better all-round (watchable), Joel Ward is without doubt a warrior. Fingers crossed for 2nd half.

Playing like this against the top teams is acceptable. Playing the same way (or worse) against the likes of Burnley and Fulham is not.
Will Roy push the boat out if still 0-0 after 70-75 mins?

We look much better with Ayew behind Tekkers than Eze, who despite some mistakes has been more involved in 45 minutes than he did in the whole of the last two games when he was in the middle.

United aren't closing us down that much which is helping us keep possession a bit better, but one thing I will repeat is how annoying it is that the big clubs repeatedly foul counter-attacking teams without recourse. Nearly every time we looked to break Andros, Ayew or Eze was fouled; so frustrating!

The fact we are still in this is good news. Hopefully the mist gets thicker as the Man Utd players might disappear completely

Hold-up play is the Palace problem, driving the commentators, and me, nuts.

It gives the opposition such an advantage.

That's something Wickham has, and the ability to tap it in from two yards.

A good half from the lads nevertheless.

Who knows Benteke may have a brainstorm and score a couple of goals.
