This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

He was playing in the bank of five above the bank of four with the hope he could take us up the field should the moment dictate. Whatever way we won, COYP
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

He was a disappointment, but it was a don’t lose match without a lot of support when surrounded and outnumbered, which happened if we didn’t break through their lines quickly, which we didn’t apart from a few times.

I’ve not got a problem with a smash and grab like that, especially to them. But what is embarrassing is that this seems to happening a lot now, we are getting outclassed by a lot of teams, and not just the top sides. This can’t carry on, it’ll catch up with us next season I’m sure, unless things change, which hopefully it’s looking that way. Edited by monkey (26 Feb 2021 2.26pm)

I read a sky pundit to today describe our style of play in cricket terms “block, block, block - with no need to take a swing” !

This seasons two games against Brighton , we had 3 shots last night at The Amex and 1 shot at Selhurst That’s Brighton 45 shots to Palace’s 4 Brighton would swap all those stats and more for a win. When its Brighton who cares? In fact its even sweeter when they think they deserved more out of the game.

Totally agree! The football we are playing is shocking. They say beware what you wish for, I refuse to believe

Absolutely right. We set up every game as if we're some 4th division outfit taking on the big boys in an FA cup tie. Seeing Brighton's keeper playing in the centre circle at one point in the second half said it all. We have become the Stoke City of the 2020s - and we'll share the same fate sooner or later. Can’t disagree with any of this, but who was the more embarrassed at 10pm on Monday - us or Llalana, Welbeck and those other clowns who couldn’t hit the proverbial barn door
