Yes but the way Chung Young Lee glided past two of his own players and slid the perfect through ball to the Burnley striker so he was one on one with our keeper was almost de Bruyne-like, even if he was playing in the wrong direction. I was going to say, wasn't it the last appearance for Chung-Yong as well? I also remember the skinny bloke with the flat cap who is always pissed at away games going on and on about Wayne Hennessy being crap.

Let's hope the losing streak of the bottom 4 clubs continues tomorrow night with Palace taking the points against a haphazard Burnley devoid of confidence.

I think midfield will be Schlupp, Jairo, Mcarthur and townsend, defecence depends on injuries, but Eze will come on and start at home agaisnt Newcatle.

This is obviously an absolutely must-win game for them. We will see a very typical Burnley performance: direct, physical, dogged, aggressive and in our faces. It will come down to whether we can get enough of a platform to get a few moments of quality in an attacking sense, and withstand the bombardment. I think we can but I do expect Burnley to play well.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Burnley at home only lost to Southampton and Tottenham 1-0 in both games and I expect them to be resolute and difficult opponents.

Burnley have told Dyche that all contract talks and negotiations with January transfer targets must be placed on hold until the proposed takeover is completed. Edited by Willo (22 Nov 2020 10.56pm)

Edited by Willo (22 Nov 2020 10.37pm) Interesting turn of events. For Burnley tomorrow's game is an opportunity to kick start their season and I'd suspect highly motivated side that not only find themselves in a relegation fight, but also to keep their place in the side. We seem to slack off when we are comfortable. I hope we don't, winning our next too would provide an excellent platform to build on going into the January transfer window. Could give the club confidence to pursue a top half finish, cup run, or to invest in the squad. Lose and we'll definitely start looking down the table in fear again, rather than up it with some optimism. I won't mind if Roy takes a defensive approach, just as long as he tries to chase the game if we conceed.

This is the type of banana skin game despite present form that Palace is capable of conceding. Let's hope that the right team turn up for us playing to their full potential.
