Certainly in the age stakes there isn’t a lot between us and Watford.

Sarr was our only real attacking outlet and he was injured a bit. Welbeck looked useful at the end but again suffered with injuries as predicted. And Deeney played a whole season with a bad knee. Midfield was non existent. The fact Sunday was probably one of our best performances says it all - too little too late. Or knew Dawson was one of the biggest thugs in football. Sorry but that is true... watch the assault on Speroni which went unpunished by that t**t Clatternburg

I certainly agree that 5 subs should be a no-no because the advantage that gives to the big clubs who already have enough of an advantage with their financial muscle and squad strength.

Five subs should be kept because it enables the smaller clubs to improve their squads with actual game experience, the big clubs can do what they like on the pitch anyway.

Watford gone and i laughed I never laughed so much sine Granma caught her left t*t in the mangle as for subs 3 is enough but i think a injured goalkeeper can be replaced if all 3 subs have been used as its a specialist position

A goalkeeper is almost never subbed off for anything but an injury so it makes sense to keep the playing field level by always making sure a team has one. In fact the last time I remember seeing a tactical sub the goalkeeper refused to leave the pitch. I forget who it was... might have been De Gea?

I think it was Jasper Cillessen who tried to refuse to be subsituted at the end of extra time for the Netherlands against Costa Rica. Louis van Gaal brought Tim Krul instead, and they won.
