Sadly as it stands now there will be no Europe football next year, everything will have to go on hold that is until a vaccine is found, the infections will never really go away until a vaccine is found, meaning that the vulnerable will remain vulnerable for possibly over a year sadly. And will China ban the disgusting markets that cuased this? I doubt it despite their claims.

If it is as bad as they say, perhaps airports should be closed but of course big business talks Nooooooooo We're only three weeks away from the Easter holidays and I've booked flights and a villa in Lanzarote where we go every Easter. End of May half term I've booked flights to Kefalonia and paid for a villa there too but I've noticed that my favourite restaurant over there which is one of the main reasons that we go has closed today until further notice

People were moaning about us not being clean enough and not taking care of our health, but the outbreak resulted as you correctly say from catching and selling live animals that have not been tested safe for human consumption and it is not the first time this has happened in this country, We are clean and we are health conscious because these incidences do not happen everything is properly tested and secure our system works ..China's does not, their system is as corrupt as the food they sell in live markets.

Also, we is flying back to UK early May so we can go out to Tenerife(its so much cheaper via LGW)

The thing is, on top of suspending the games for at least three weeks they've also told clubs not to carry out training sessions, so at a minimum clubs would need an extra week on top of the three week suspension to get players ready. China first reported the outbreak at the end of 2019 and it is only now numbers are stabilising. If Europe followed the same pattern we could be talking about the end of May before things start returning to normal, so 3/4 April is a very optimistic target in reality given they don't even think the virus has peaked in the UK yet. One possible hope is that global warming does something good for a change and brings abnormally warm weather to the continent, as I understand the virus does not survive well in warm weather. Here in Malta they've shut the schools already after less than 10 cases and kids have been told to stay indoors. Now I don't even have football to keep me sane!

I wonder what will happen to Sky's payments to the clubs if there are no matches for them to televise

I hope you don’t lose your holiday but I am thinking of my nearest and dearest. No protection against dealing with people coming from wherever. When I am in self isolation I will frequent this board more often... be warned

A number of big games in Europe this week were held behind closed doors several thousand fans turned up anyway outside the ground which required police support. The whole point was not to put a strain on the emergency services. I think the PL and EPL have taken note so I suspect playing behind closed doors may not work.
