I think that the Investors have seen that we are “ probably “ safe and feel that further investment in not needed
Short sided in my view and hardly gives the team any motivation

This entire comment is spot on with the final sentence particularly resonating.

People say its not Parishs fault, but who brought the Americans in?
Do we actually know its them holding the purse strings?
Parish has always talked a good talk. New stadium new main stand new acadamy not standing still. Yet none of the 1st three have happened the only one that has is the last comment and thats to the detriment of the team.

Alot lies at Parishs door imo.

I understand OPs emotion, I am bitterly disappointed and am not adverse to any shows of discontent which I feel would be justified.

I can’t see the point in doing this on match day though as it could undermine the players and manager.

Also, it’s a football match at the end of the day and I will be at SP this afternoon supporting my team which is still very much the point for me.

A good result today would be an ideal antidote!

COYP!!!!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Discontent should be shown at the owners mainly and Parish for making false promises like the stadium plans. I think the only way we can go forward as a club is if they sell up to some Chinese/Arab billionaire who is willing to spend.

We need to aspire to be a club like Wolves. Their Chinese owner spends money. Not only that most of the time he has spent it very wisely i.e. Jimenez, Moutinho, Neves, Traore, Boly, Jota etc..

That being said, we can only dream of a Chinese billionaire/Arab taking over Palace. It would be amazing If it happened though.

Football fans in my opinion are generally quite fickle about this stuff.

If we win today all will be forgotten (until next time we lose)

The transfer month is over. Let’s all get behind supporting our local team lads.

A big performance is needed today.

Slip to a disappointing defeat and I do think that people will make their feelings known to Parish.

agree totally

He totally misjudged Americans or perhaps simply needed money and they were only choice.

If it was an elective decision then it was a bad one

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

There’s no denying that we had a disappointing and depressing transfer window. And to add insult to injury the one player we did bring in is now injured for a few weeks.
Speaking from the perspective of a lifelong supporter in his 72nd year, however, there have been plenty of far worse situations than our current one. Frustrating, yes; potentially terminal, surely not.
It is obvious that we are currently having to operate with some significant issues to contend with. These probably relate to our American shareholders wanting out & associated governance issues and FFP restrictions. I think it would be helpful if Steve Parish could talk to supporters to explain what our current constraints are and what our strategy is to deal with them. It’s not feasible or reasonable for Palace fans to have a running commentary on how the club is run, but SP is an excellent communicator and this sort of contact with the fans would certainly go a long way to quell any rising discontent.
With social media being being the way it is, there is an information gap which gives too many opportunities for stories to be made up.
It does seem perverse that, during Palace’s most sustained successful period, there are increasing voices of discontent.
I have a feeling that our club could be reaching a critical point in our history. The probably loss of our best ever player and possible loss of our outstanding manager along with the backdrop of the issues mentioned above, means I am increasingly uncertain about next season and the immediate future.
I suspect I’m not the only supporter to feel like this.

We should support the team 100% today.

I didn't actually expect us to sign anybody much in the window anyway. However, we obviously were after 2/3 players, none of whom materialised. Whose fault? I've no idea - Parish, Freedman, the Yanks - none of us really know.

It has crossed my mind that we are perhaps not seen as a "glamorous" proposition to players, with us not seeming to be a very progressive club. I'm sure that's not the sole reason that we get beaten to the line to sign players by other teams, but when everything else is equal it may be a factor.

In my mind we should be back to full strength today andall100% fit.
Victory in the air. Give them all we’ve got. Get right behind them.

Got that wrong, of course one of our best players is still out Schluppie.
But at least we've got most of our stars back. Certainly enough to overturn the Blades.
