Just a realisation as to where we are as a team and club and the challenges that lie ahead.

Wherever we finish this year, we do have the problem of an ageing squad and no money to buy players.

SP has often in the past made reference to only selling to
" good " purchasers and his personal responsibility in his
" stewardship ". I am sure these sentiments were earnest at the time but the basic maths of the club's expenditure and income do not present a good future if the situation continues without a signifiant change.

I don't think SP sees PL survival as the number one priority as long as CPFC exists even in the Championshp

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
