It's not at all. He went forward with a clever pass instead of going backwards as we had been all half. It's the kind of thing he can do and we need to see more. Your getting carried away, if Zaha had been tackled, then nothing, if Townsend had been tackled then nothing. How you attribute it to Meyer is grasping at straws.

Shown nothing apart from virtually setting up our second against Norwich. So one 15 yard pass to a team mate is worthy of a starting place in the team ? if it that easy I could get a game for Palace. His overall game is lacking too much hence why someone as bad as Schlupp can get a run ahead of him. Edited by EddieMac (02 Oct 2019 12.00pm)

Don’t get me wrong I would love to see him play every week to see what he is capable of but it looks like the only position he is going to get a run is the left side role but that is not going to suit him. My view is that if he was good enough then he would have dis lodged one of the midfield players by now. He has had every day in training and lots of time on the pitch to prove himself. Camarassa has an excuse as he has barely played yet. I reckon Meyer will be gone at the end of the season. He won’t really be missed.

i cant see how he deserves a place in our starting 11...yes he looked good last season at cardiff, but our midfield is solid. in my eyes, he was a cheap option for this season as cover instead of williams/puncheon/mutch/sako and i would be surprised if there wasnt a amount of games played clause in the option to buy. if max cant get a game then camarasa needs to bide his time, collect his wages and take this season for what it is.

According to the media around the time we acquired him we are loaning him for the season but we have to buy him at the end of the season

I'll be the first to admit I've been one of his biggest critics and in his first 18 months I couldn't work out why we had signed him and thought he was awful.. I'll admit that he now seems to be finding his feet and over the last 12 months has turned in some good performances and weighed in with some important goals. I'm still unsure of what his best position is but I hope he continues with his uplift in form.
