This post has been merged from a topic called 'Martin Kelly ' by Midlands Eagle He's got to be the worst I've ever seen at the club for his passing back to the keeper. The guy cant handle pressure and looks uncomfortable with the ball if a attacking player is running at him. How many times since signing him have we seen him try to pass backwards to then set the opposition up with a goal scoring opportunity? Have we ever had a player like this before? Sort it out Martin!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Martin Kelly ' by Midlands Eagle If he had passed back to Guaita it would have been fine. He tried to find Tomkins and missed by a mile. At least half of Ings's goals this season have come from defensive errors like that

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Martin Kelly ' by Midlands Eagle Kelly has been one of our best players this season and made an error that cost a goal - i actually thought he was a bit unlucky in Tomkins moved a half step forward when he played the pass which helped to wrong foot himself otherwise he might have been able to recover. Sakho made an error in first half that he got away with that could have cost a goal.

I was under the impression that the usual way to deal with pressure in a situation like that seen yesterday is to lump it the ball down the line and regroup. Perhaps they are under instruction to play the ball across the line. Edited by southnorwoodhill (29 Dec 2019 9.54am)

He made a costly error but otherwise played well and has done well this season at all times.

MK is not the only player guilty of hazard back passes. And this time it all went wrong, much like a certain Korean player did a couple of seasons ago at Turf Moor.
