Almost as silly as Creationist museums.

Even the depiction of the crucifixion is wrong according to a program I watched recently.
Apparently crosses were very likely X shaped or it would have been next to impossible to crucify someone in the accepted way. There is even a clue to this in the old Christian symbol which predates the Medieval cross.

It was more the fact that 'Jesus' gets resurrected every hour that I found amusing.

I find the fact that he supposedly resurrected the one time amusing but that's just me.

I'm constantly wondering whether any of that wine he converted from water was "laid down" and if so what it would fetch a bottle at Oddbins?

Or if they're using religious exception as a means of tax avoidance, in which case, the Church could owe billions in revenue....

You also need to stop being so precious about the Jews in general. Israel was founded specifically the Jewish homeland and any amount of pedantry won't change that.
Israel is 75@ Jewish and you will just have to forgive my "old hoary" use of the word "they" in the interests of keeping posts to a sensible length.

Forgive me not replying before but I only just read your post.

My references to usage of "they" was not simply aimed at you.Rather to the IMO lazy assumption seemingly adopted by a number of people that Jews in general (whether Israeli or not) are one collective acting in unison..or even that the Israeli Jews are on collective..They are not any more than the British Governments actions encapsulate the views of all of us.If you disagree,so be it.

As for my posts being some kind of "making excuses" for Israeli actions;that's plain silly and about as legitimate an analysis as those who in an equally silly way try to equate any anti Israeli state/government criticisms with anti semitism. Personally,I'm not a zionist. Just someone who believes "equal rights and justice"(and "outrage" at transgressors) should apply across the board so far as possible rather than selectively.

As for your assertion that I am being "precious about the Jews in general"(ironically,a response regularly trotted out over the centuries in response to concerns about anti-semitic sentiments surfacing),that may say more about you and your underlying analysis than about me.

Anyway, time to move on to another topic for me...

What you have just done is to prove that any argument of this type can be applied in both directions and that most view points are self serving.
