Firstly, I did not say he knew full well in advance they wouldn't take his order; he was being provocative to see how they would react. Out of all the other bakeries he could have gone to, he just 'happened' to choose a business that is known for their religious faith. "Gareth Lee, targeted a bakers knowing full well that their religious convictions would put them in a difficult position regarding his silly cake slogan" In fact,no evidence whatsoever to suggest he "targeted" them or knew "full well" they wouldn't take his order. No evidence he had a clue before his ordered was cancelled about their particular "extreme"religious beliefs. No "evidence",other than your intolerance of the beliefs of the guy. Edited by legaleagle (31 May 2015 2.27pm) You are sloppy for a legal person, I would not want you in my corner during a cake-wording controversy; I said "knowing full well that their religious convictions would put them in a difficult position", not that they would necessarily refuse the order. I am not intolerant of his beliefs at all, I am intolerant of Ashers being prosecuted for their beliefs.
He spends most of his time on here debating and is either an imposter or sh1t at his job.... LOL I think he is probably one of those security guys who sits on the door and makes you empty the contents of your pockets onto a tray. As sloppy as the next lawyer! But very very happy not to be in your corner. Your argument has as many holes as a a piece of Emmentaler, even Rumpole would have been on a loser trying to represent you And yes Hoof, too much weekday time posting Edited by legaleagle (31 May 2015 5.52pm)

I got well p*ssed off when I read that the men in this sect prefer to study their religious texts rather than get a job after marriage-so the lazy buggers sponge of the state...make 'em work like the rest of us !

What has Gareth Lee got to do with Jewish mums driving (or not) their kids to school? Please let's not let one heated argument infect all threads, ot this will become a very tedious place to be indeed.

Of course, otherwise I wouldn't get into that school. Because everyone knows, that a god that demands foreskins to be cut from children is the right one for worshiping.

raising the tone yet again.Any future comparisons to comedians will no doubt need to focus on an appropriate twosome Friday, gay "jokes",saturday/sunday jewish "jokes".Maybe tomorrow it will be the turn of black or asian people in the daily "comedic" schedule? Edited by legaleagle (31 May 2015 12.06pm)
Every group should be fair game for humour. Especially lawyers. There's no such thing as lawyer jokes - there are all true. "Lawyers occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened." - Winston Churchill What can a lawyer do, that a duck can't? ... ... ... ...
