Interesting, albeit you can never be sure what was edited out. Conscription would seem to be a path to reducing the number of immigrants who have no affinity for the country. If they wont fight for their country of birth why would they fight for us?

Personally I don't think they can afford conscription. The legal cases from snowflakes....the 'perception' of offence laws would have to go for a start. It would certainly get rid of a lot of younger 'fly by nights' but as the government has spent a lot of effort importing those people they don't want to lose them.

Good point, legal aid field day for those not wanting to go
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Good point, legal aid field day for those not wanting to go I could imagine the BBC falling over themselves making undercover documentaries about it all. Total tart fest.

My dad did his National Service being shot at, a school friend's dad played cricket for 2 years. People who go to university are often exempted e.g. USA why is that? Are they too good to do the bleeding and the dying? The problem with conscription is that there are always far too many exceptions which just leaves poor young men whilst the elite wriggle out of it.

Multiculturalism means we have a much smaller proportion of the population likely to serve. The pakistani dual national being a good example

The problem with conscription is that there are always far too many exceptions which just leaves poor young men whilst the elite wriggle out of it. Many such cases. I bring the example up many times but I see the same disparity from the past in so many instances. A hundred years ago, the posh officer blew the whistle but he went over the top with his men. The destiny of the nation was his destiny as much as it was some miner from the pits. Forward a hundred years...and for several reasons...now from the middle class upwards you have the ever increasing 'citizen of nowhere' traitor class. Raised to be anti nationalism and deracinated. All our institutions are clogged up with them. Managers of decline, who aren't a patch on the previous generations they detest.

The left and social liberals filled our country with these people. Gave them the same rights as native British who have no divided loyalty and only this one home. Called us 'racists' (even though we are less 'racist' than the imports) for pointing out the injustice and downgrade they forced onto the population without their consent. [Tweet Link]

Whatever s***hole these elites turn it into I would still die for it. Not for the inward coward piss taking crew, more out of the fact that I am England, England is me. I couldn’t be more proud to say that. Edited by cryrst (31 Jan 2024 1.18pm)
