My military that did this now talks about recruiting large numbers again. I hear that for every one recruit the military takes in, there are three leaving it. Quite frankly that doesn't surprise me in the least. Well, I say good luck with your army of social liberals and leftists squire. Oh and apparently all the oppressed minorities and women who, in the main, aren't going to sign up for you. Go pin that rainbow flag on the Kremlin. You reap what you sow. [Tweet Link]

Here a oppressed minority, taught by the left and rewarded by the left, gives her opinion on the matter. Now who was that guy who talked about maximum integration only working at 1/3.....I can't for the life of me remember. Still, I tip my hat to those who have. I agree with Carl on the last link. My initial thought was "If I'm in the army, I'll follow BJ, May, Sunak and Starmer out of the trenches if they want to lead." No way would I fight for 'my' country today. Then , I thought. "guns". and I wondered how many other people would sign up with the army, just to get a gun.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Well, you don't have a choice if you have to defend yourself. Is it 1939 there are distinct echos. Warnings about the international situation, probably to be ignored. The army run down only 73,000 is not a convincing conventional force. Recruitment and retention an admitted privatisation failure, the 1930s a tory decade. US generals doubt our capacity to fight. I can imagine Sunak waving the piece of paper, it's certainly different.

It always amazes me that Radio 4 pumps out programme after programme on trans rights, the slave trade and issues that are clearly designed for a young, ethnically diverse, woke-fed audience WHO WILL NEVER TUNE IN. Likewise the military. By all means target the female and ethnic populations for recruitment WITH the traditional white and male, but not to the exclusion of the latter. Also, the ethnic population is too small a pool and, like my Radio 4 analogy, they are unlikely to apply, no matter how inclusive the ad campaigns. Worse, if the majority white and male population from where most recruits come gets wind that they will be unfavourably treated at selection and throughout their career, they will not apply. The evidence both here and across the pond is supporting that very trend.

Yep....the people getting paid the big bucks essentially are no more competent that the geezer in your local pub....in fact he's probably way better because he doesn't go along with the obvious bullsh1t. It's socially neo liberal yes men and Karens all the way down......all about agreeing with their deluded social bubble and paying their mortgage. Life has taught me to never under estimate a person's capability to ignore a downside if it isn't actually happening to them at that moment in time. Essentially if truth autists aren't running your society.....it's fecked

United States to station nuclear weapons in UK for first time in 15 years, Pentagon documents reveal. Moscow warns of 'escalation' as warheads to be housed at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk. I am not best pleased to hear about this.

I am not best pleased to hear about this. We had loads of them here until the cold war thawed. Were just rewinding.
