It's a good point. I'd imagine we have fingers in necessary pies scouting and available wise. Perhaps we have to make do.

Regardless I think we will have to resort to our fast counter attack style of play and thus a 442 or 433....That would make us centre half heavy if we get Sakho.

Sakho is a great player...though that amount of money an a player that's just had a serious injury keep them out for months is risky.

Regardless, I do rate Freedman and company on judging player ability.

I think players falling out with the management in bin-dipper land is not uncommon. Sakho, Benteke, now Coutinho.

Dont think its misguided. Without him as part of our team last season we would have been relegated. We do need other positions filling especially a second striker however build from the back if teams cant score against you then tere is a chance of a pkint or 3.

IF we sign him that will be it....nobody else budget gone for the season.

He's not able to play GK RB wide or up font is he ? Those positions are equally as desperate, if we sign Sakho we will go down. We can't score goals so the best we can hope for is 0 0
