If we want to know where the Tories are at, then perhaps the fact that they have just refused Henry Bolton membership of the party might be a clue. He is an expert on maintaining national borders.

All the rose tinted EU fans need to actually take note of the level of dissatification in Europe. A generation of globalistic Social and neo liberalism in the west has worsened people's lives, not improved them. The left kneed for the corporates because they threw them alphabet bones. They operate as the defence boys for the wealth establishment. [Tweet Link]

No system is perfect and there are always some who want to change it, especially if that change benefits them. It’s always like that and when stresses test our economies that are unrelated to the system, like wars or pandemics, the system tends to get the blame. So the rise of support for populist politicians is unsurprising. It’s always easy to sit outside and convince people your theories will deliver magic. The test comes when you get inside and you can’t. Brexit being the example that the rest of Europe should never forget.

When neo and social liberalism takes over from a formerly socially conservative society. You get excuses and deflections from the guy above....and the truth from Peter Hitchens below. [Tweet Link]

The tories overrule the Supreme Court to produce their own law declaring Rwanda is safe. The whole thing is a ridiculous, hypocritical, probably won't work and definitely will have no effect on the figures they are so low. It also costs the nation an arm and a leg for their ideological fantasy. 'Defence Secretary Grant Shapps has been unable to explain why the UK has accepted asylum seekers from Rwanda if the country is deemed safe by the Government.' That's how bonkers the whole thing is. Heartfelt sorrow for those poor souls the other day, what a way to go.

Yes, reckless of them to leave the safety of the French EU utopia for the bankrupt, racist, hell-hole that is the Britain that you project.

Heartfelt sorrow for those poor souls the other day, what a way to go. They put themselves on that boat. They have no right to my country. We would agree that Grant Shapps is a worm....though perhaps not for the same reasons. The whole Rwanda question is easy to answer and depends precisely upon the definition of 'safe'. However, I regard the leftist concept that because some nations aren't 'first worlds' as they patronizingly see them that this means that people from there have a right to my country. The whole 'refugee' system was not set up for how it is abused today. If white or otherwise 'third worldists' in this country wish to help those in other countries then plane tickets rather than just virtue signals are available. The shambolic incompetence of this Government across every aspect of its disgraceful mismanagement of our country’s asylum system knows no bounds. “We already knew that removal of asylum seekers whose claims have been rejected have collapsed by 50% since Labour left office in 2010, but over the weekend it emerged that the Home Office has lost contact with an astonishing 85% of the 5,000 people who have been identified for removal to Rwanda. This has all been created by the tories manifest incompetence.

The asylum system is useless, we are not obliged to provide anything to anyone unless we choose to do so, we are a laughing stock. I totally blame the Conservatives for the past 13 years, who else ? Asylum is an abused concept beyoond recognition of the original idealism
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

"Alternative for Germany" (AFD) continues to grow in popularity and is now the strongest party in Germany, according to the latest Prognos poll. Yum.
