I’ve heard curry’s are selling and delivering loads of extra fridges and freezers. Especially freezers.

It's amazing the depths to which modern British citizens have sunk. It makes me ashamed to be British at the moment and Italians have gone right up in my estimation

They should be castrated as people like that shouldn't be allowed to breed

This is out there but...
Watching World war z and how that was combated.
Give the host a dose of something and the zombies didnt want them as they weren't clean.
Could a mild disease with a very low death rate cause our immune system to start working before covid 19 gets close.
That way we are up to speed inside and covid might f*** off and think no mileage in that one.
This is with no alcohol I might add.
Mad ideas are sometimes the best.

yes, and had unchecked flights from Italy up until last week, they have more deaths than China now, unbelievable Boris!

Even the Labour Party have been broadly in agreement with government actions.

What would the mighty croydon proud party have done? Leave the Brits in Italy to die I suppose. Truly the spirit that made Britain great - not

Young fit people have a much higher chance of not becoming ill and because there is nothing to prevent this virus from spreading (vaccine) this may well be a good way of getting people back into work safely.

The problem is nobody knowing if they have the infection and then these people infecting others who will need specialised help from hospitals, if we all knew the moment the infection gets a hold then we could control this very easily.
Young fit and healthy people are going to take risks because during this age we all tend to feel invincible but, along with this also comes recklessness through the inability to understand the dangers to themselves and others ...resulting in possibly spreading the virus to the very people who are not able to cope with it, which is the reason for our predicament and everyone else around the world ...not enough beds with enough intensive care nurses to operate them!

Controlling the spread of this virus is paramount to the amount of people taking up the care needed to keep them alive ..meaning, the severity of their infection will decide their fate before they even enter hospital due to not having enough space and time to help them.
I think Italy are in this situation now.

Testing is the one thing we need to take back control and testing is the one thing we aren't doing, probably because of cost and availability.

That video the nurse made just got straight on my t1t5.

"oooh, I can't buy a banana, so i made a video of myself crying about it"

The other issue about companies producing ventilators smacks of bv115h1t to me. The Government have printed instructions on-line so companies can make ventilators for the NHS to buy off them. Who is doing the Quality Control of these machines, and what happens if there is a malfunction that causes death or injury.?

This whole situation is complete b0110cks (fuelled by panic and mis-information) and the comedy would be farcical, if it wasn't such a serious situation

I disengage, I turn the page.

The last thing people with health problems need is a mild disease! especially if on top of this they catch covid 19! lol

Quite agree, that nurse obviously has no friends and no family to help her get hold of a flipping bananana, all she has to do is pick up her phone and inform any shop where they actually have one to bring it to her home if she cries down the phone also telling them she is a nurse and needs one desperately I'm pretty sure someone somewhere will be able to help.
This country apparently supplies the whole world with ventilators and as you say they need to be made with proper attention, to change a company into making these machines is stupidly ridiculous, it would take so much time and resources to just make one and then would it actually work safely ..probably not! the biggest issue though is properly trained staff to operate them, because we are running out of these people well well before we run out of machines!.

We should be concentrating on testing people first and we are miles away from that, this is all being ferked up by the conservatives sadly because we haven't funded the health service anywhere near enough and this sort of virus has been on the horizon for over twenty years, but then again the whole world is in the same mess.

When everything eventually gets back to normal after a vaccine has been produced the supermarkets and stores will be full of food but empty of humans because everyone will be feeding themselves from their freezers lol

How often does one need to be tested. If I am tested today and found to be negative there is nothing to say that I won't catch it tomorrow

Like that nurse has any more right than anyone else to find food.

We are all suffering from food shortages.

The sense of entitlement p@sses me off. She’s not a volunteer, she’s paid to do her job
