I've grown up with and lived with, studied with and worked with muslims and people from all different nationalities, religions and backgrounds since a young age. It doesn't bother me. I like experiencing a mix of cultures. It would be boring if we were all the same. You've missed the point. Tommy grew up in a large Muslim community with Muslim friends and also had many black people in the EDL. He is specifically targeting the IDEOLOGY of Islam in Britain and not targeting individual Muslims. If you can't – or don't want to – see the difference...

Same as any one whose belief system lies to the extreme of anything. Tommy will also appreciate that the vast majority of muslims are respectful, peaceful individuals then. You appreciate by specifically focusing on one issue only this does make him look a bit, y'know, racist.

When we used to see the religious fervour and practices of the Middle East on the tv I couldn’t believe what I was watching and didn’t want it here. Oh dear, we have now. 2 seperate worlds. Should’ve kept it that way.

People should be free to criticise a religion, while the politicians – you know, the people who are supposed control the country and the media – are terrified to. And this is the end result... Robinson is anti Islamic on its mainstream UK versions for certain. However, he isn't against a person purely because of their religion. If you had followed him in his interviews with Muslims you'd know that.

So you don't think Peter Tatchell should be taken seriously for his work with LGBT social movements because he mainly focuses on that one issue?
