I see now. Yes, of course the liberal-left oppose all other political views that do not conform to their ideas. They also turn a bind eye to problem like those is Sweden that are staring them in the face. They are like some dogmatic religious cult.

But should it be called the 'illiberal right'?

Is a 'political group opposes the view of another political group's ideas' part of your argument against the left?

Right outside my door
Theres minute men in little pick up trucks
Who've declared their own damn war

Now the government wants to build
A barrier like old Berlin 8 feet tall
But if uncle Sam sends the illegals home
Whos gonna build the wall?

Who's gonna build your wall boys?
Who's gonna mow your lawn?
Who's gonna cook your Mexican food
When your Mexican maid is gone?

Who's gonna wax the floors tonight
Down at the local mall?
Who's gonna wash your babys face?
Who's gonna build your wall?"

Great stuff!

It's catchy, but not as good as 99 balloons, or as poignant!

One thing is for sure. You are not going anywhere near my bed

You seemed to be backing Gusset's sausage campaign earlier.... even making up your own Portuguese gags that no one understood....

Glad to hear you admit that you both weren't arguing coherently.

Keep up Steeleye... we're not talking about Judd Trump.

Donald J Trump was inaugurated as the 45th President of the USA on January 20th 2017.

Look... even Wikipedia know that!

I'm not sure I've argued that have I? My point was that the liberal-left have encouraged mass, open-door immigration without being mindful of the problems it causes.
Clearly it is natural for political groups to oppose other political groups. I guess you could call the right 'illiberal', in that they are not 'liberals' in the modern sense of the word.
Another point is that the right tends to be more flexible than the left in that it generally supports ideas that work rather than sticking to theories that have proved to be wrong in practice, eg: socialism.

Would those be the problems that were happening 'yesterday' in Sweeden? That were a terrorist incident, that has since been downgraded to generalisations about immigration.

Liberal left is really only a term used by those on the fringes of the right wing, to explain anything that isn't right wing. It literally refers to everyone else on the political spectrum (and increasingly the more moderate right wing).

Its one of those darling right wing snowflake terms to present how everyone, even the facts, are against them, and everyone is lying to them - its bunker mentality rhetoric used by people in denial.

Its everyone else who's wrong, the liberals, the democrats, the left wing, the academics, the media (even when it right wing bias media if it disagrees), politicians, the judiciary and so on.

Basically, its denial mentality.

More than 300 people have gone to fight in Syria and Iraq, making Sweden per capita one of the biggest exporters of jihadists in Europe. Sweden, with a population of about 9.5m, has taken in nearly 200,000 refugees and migrants in recent years - more per capita than any other European country. They have a massive housing shortage and parts of Gothenburg are classified as "vulnerable", which is police weasel words for a breakdown of law and order and the emergence of a parallel society. Naturally, right wing parties are the faster growing in Sweden. Similar to us, it is self-inflicted damaged orchestrated by the naive and irresponsible liberal-left.

Did you work out the percentage of the population that went off to fight in Iraq and Syria? Also did you take into account which sides they went to fight for? I know everyone likes to assume that every muslim headed for Iraq and Syria, are fervent IS fanatics but don't for get that there are volunteers also fighting with the Syrian Rebels, Syrian Loyalists and Kurdish forces.

Also, as note before, if you try to calculate the percentage of population that has left for Syria / Iraq, its so low, it will crash you windows calaculator.

That amnesty incidentally was under a Republican President Reagan. My take on all this? Is there will be some type of wall built, be it a mix of physical & some sort of E verification to check who comes in & out of the country. There will also be a round up of the so called Bad Hombre's the Gang Bangers, people wanted on Rape, Murder, Child sex abuse, Drug dealers etc.
I also believe that Trump is a pragmatist & I think that the huge swathe of the 11M Illegals will get some road to legality. Not only are a huge amount of the public behind it so are many big businesses & farming, construction etc in favour of it.

It'll start being built, and you can almost guarantee that the contract to build it will end up favourably in the pockets of several key trump supporters and players.

The cost will be staggeringly high, and the maintenance unbelievable, and it'll be torn down or otherwise sabotaged in locations and have no impact at all on illegal immigration - Which will continue for as long as there is a market for illegal migrant labour.

Its staggering that someone who is a 'Businessman' and CEO, doesn't understand how economic incentive creates and directs trends.
