treble for tomorrow.

Cardiff - Derby
Watford - Sheff Weds
MK dons - Doncaster

£20 returns £161.84

Nottingham - Ipswich
Stevenage - Brentford
Palace - Hull

£20 returns £159.65

First treble im really confident about, the second not as.

Stevenage will probably get their first win for a while because I shouldn't bet against my home town!

Never usually bet on Palace but we are at home and I honestly think we will be well up for it as its a must win game.

Edited by miles18 (05 Mar 2013 9.42pm)

Knew Stevenage would f*** me over!!

There are some team news putting me off a few of these Champ fixtures.

Forest have their 1st choice defenders out v Ipswich.

Leicester may not have Nugent avaliable & Leeds have an unchanged 11 for about the 5th game. That can make a big difference in football at any level.

Cardiff are without Hudson again and were sh1t without him v Mboro away until they started to have their fair of chances. They can also be sh1t at home.

I'm going with

WATFORD 7/10 v Sheff W
DORTMUND v SHAKHTAR BTTS 4/7

2-2 on aggregate with all to go for.

Double = 7/4

I should've put half on Watford & Dortmund BTTS AND half on Watford & Dortmund to win, which is what I thought was more likely to happen and equal odds. A bit stupid really.

Even so, sort of glad I missed out the fav's in the football league last night. Would've been nicer with a winner Tuesday night but at least you can see the problems the teams had.

Still think Forest have a decent bit of momentum. They and Watford would've been my English double so also a bit disappointed on that.

Read this tread but never bet, but however.

cpfc 4/11 to make play offs

hfc 8/15

wfc 4/5

cardiff 8-1 good if they implode.

can see watford taking 1st, us Second with 8 wins from the last 10.

are CPFC play offs only if so 4/11 is a good return ?

Still gutted about not having Dortmund in one of the Watford doubles instead of Dortmund BTTS in both. And including Dagenham in 2 doubles & Notts County in one instead of the other way round. 2 good bets not done. But roll on.....

Tough week this week before looking at team news:

Before looking at team news OF OTHER LEAGUE TIES, when they're available, there are these, subject to TEAM NEWS:

EVERTON 4/9 v Wigan
GILLINGHAM 4/6 v Plymouth
NORTHAMPTON 4/6 v Accrington
ROTHERHAM 8/11 v Dagenham
BRAINTREE 10/11 v Nuneaton

I like Northampton to bt Accrington and Rotherham to bt Dagenham.

For an outside (ish) bet I also fancy Wycombe to win at Rochdale. The latter are in dreadful form - 1 win in the last 10, and only scored 5 goals and none in the last 3. Wycombe have won 5 of their last 7 away matches Plus Wycombe's record at Spotland is won 4 drawn 2 lost 1 out of 7. 2/1

Or I might do Northampton and Rotherham with Wycombe on the handicap +1 - that is about 7/2

I agree. Although Everton like the FA Cup, the cup is the cup.

Gillingham are Gillingham. They don't play football and just throw the ball in the box and rely on law of probability. They also have injury problems and not the greatest home record.

Braintree is obviously non league and there if making selections are even harder come Saturday.

Northampton & Rotherham for near 2/1 is decent.

The treble at 8/1 is a good scoop with the 2/1 on Wycombe but although everything hints they may get a result, they haven't scored that many, and down in that league teams can do.

Therefore the +1 Wycombe handicap (8/15) in with Northampton & Gillingham at 7/2 is a real tempter.

Definitely the Northampton & Rotherham double. Possibly one or both of the trebles.

Yeah, I really fancied Dagenham last week but they just had a bad day at the office. It's putting me off Rotherham slightly even though Rotherham are really moving into top gear and should have too much for them.

These at the moment (before news etc later) look decent:

LEEDS 4/5 v Pboro (Leeds 6th game unchanged. Diouf available again. Were due a result vs us & looking solid for a home win)

DONNY OFF DONNY OFF DONNY OFF DONNY OFF
DONNY 4/5 v carlisle
DONNY OFF DONNY OFF DONNY OFF DONNY OFF

COVENTRY 8/11 v COLCHESTER (Cov's away form's been good & home form's been sh1t. Could be a due a win within sniffing distance of play offs, although been there quite a bit)

DAGENHAM 1/1 v Torquay (read previous posts on Daggers. Back them & lose. Bet against & they win. Heard manager, fans & presenter on BBC Radio London & they have varied the way they play & it's sinking in & working, so they say)

SOUTHEND v Wimbledon (no Southend news yet but they need a win being 5 off 6th with a game in hand & to build on this. Latest result on right. LWWDLLWLDW

Didn't see earlier:

YEOVIL 11/10 v Crawley

Really tempted by a double of 2 from Leeds, Dagenham, Yeovil.

Any double is very close & either side of 3/1.

Not often I laugh at my own losing bets but I am at these. Each one a score draw.

Got to say I fancy Liverpool at S'ton. (I think it'll be streamed off Setanta tv)

There is also Arsenal at Swansea but not as tempting tbf.

Southampton v LIVERPOOL 10/11
Swansea v Arsenal 6/5

CELTIC-1 @ 4/6 v Aberdeen is tempting but prob leave

There's the usual suspects in League 1.
BRENTFORD 5/6 v Preston (19/20 Corals)
DONNY 4/7 v Pompey (prob leave. Pompey do surprises)
Stevenage v SHEFF UTD 10/11 (good shout IMO)

L ORIENT 1/1 v Carlisle is a poss

BRISTOL R 5/4 v Preston (BRFC on fire at home)

WALSALL 13/10 v Crawley (WFC rampant, 4 points off play offs. Crawley staggering to the finish with 3 recent draws. Midtable. Can't go up, can't go down.
