Whether that is what did him in, or a whack to the noggin, makes no difference.

He died due to injuries suffered during a riot created by your pal, Donald J Trump. If it were not for Trump, he would be alive.

As for no Trump supporter's being responsible for any deaths, that dumb broad who got capped is very responsible, as she was shot climbing through a window having been warned there was a guy standing there with a drawn pistol.

Break into congress, smash up windows, and try to start an insurrection and you run the very real risk of being shot. She should not have been there and thus is responsible for her own demise.

The Babbit family accept your condolences and thank you for your kind words in their daughter's orbituary.

So if you have 57 for and 43 against you are not guilty.

How about 57 against and 43 for then you are guilty?

Definitely not.

It is all b****x.

Ah! Of course. The system is always wrong when you don't get the result you want.
Typical of your usual self serving tripe.

I am not criticising the system at all! I am merely pointing out the facts and the consequences. Maybe you don't like facts?

The facts being that impeachment is not a legal trial and the 2/3rds majority in an evenly split Congress, which these days is largely divided on tribal lines, is a high bar to get over. Add to that the threats that the Republican Senators have been subjected to and your problems become insurmountable.

This was politics and not a determination of guilt. What was remarkable was that 7 Republicans did vote to impeach, 6 more than for his first one.

We'll doubtless see in time how Trump fares in a law Court.

I suppose the fact that there was no way he could be fairly found guilty of inciting a riot is not that important to you.

I find your justification for her death disgraceful Mainey I really do.

If she had been acting aggressively that's one thing but her death was not necessary. Using your logic all the protesters could have been shot that day.

If you want a war then fair enough, but just as long as you are definitely going to fight it yourself against people just as angry as you are.

As for the officer. Firstly you completely ignore the lies concerning how this officer died that the leftist media reported on this and allowed to spread all around the world with no real evidence....it was repeated on here, was used in Congress and and there has been no recantation anywhere......this is lying.

Secondly, there is zero evidence that the stroke that killed this officer was a reaction to that day's events. He himself texted to his brother that he was in 'good shape'.

The 'pepper spray' angle is extremely weak and as Police enforcement use sprays themselves. It looks like searching for an 'out' to me.

The US has had months of rioting by BLM and Antifa, which according to Tim Pool resulted in....when I last looked 27 deaths and countless injuries. Yet your Democrats allowed it to happen and continue onwards, releasing rioters and demonising law enforcement in those localities. So to be frank I regard your shock at Trump supporters smashing some windows as hypocrisy of a significant order.

I repeat, no Trump supporters caused any deaths on that day, but had one of their number killed. Yet the media have been nothing short of a disgrace on reporting the matter.

As you have been on this woman's death.

Is just your opinion, nothing more. Others disagree, me included.

Trump has been found guilty.

But not guilty enough to impeach.

I am wondering if he will face charges, these are just the politicians.

Seems pretty meaningless impeaching a departed president.

57 - 43 just not enough to impeach as 2/3rds majority required.

So when you face trial by jury, if you are acquitted by 6 -4 you are still guilty?

Behave.

That 2/3 majority is there for a valid reason.

If it were possible to remove presidents with simple majorities then every single president would be removed once the opposition party controlled both houses.

So come on Steely....let's be serious.

Looks like I have just been impeached.
