It's his last chance to paly Champions League, he's just got married. As other posters have said, he's not first choice for a champions league team at the moment; but PSG will change manager, and Bayern having a clear out. Let him have his honeymoon and then see the lie of the land. For sure we are not in such a bad situation if it turns out he has left. Either way: he has been terrific for us and generally a joy to watch. COYP

Its all very well saying leave it until after his honeymoon , but the clock is ticking in the transfer window and we are missing out on potential targets,I just hope Steve isn't pinning all his hopes on him staying .

This is the issue - to what extent is the Zaha farce affecting our transfer policy?

One would hope that the club is big enough simply to get on with bringing in the players they've identified and if the transfer kitty has gone by the time Zaha decides he'd like to stay after all - tough on him.

All this reminds me of my tinder days. Having 3-4 dates lined up for the week without commiting to one.

Exactly Wilf staying or going should now have no effect on our transfer dealings. If and when he decides what he wants to do in the future is his concern. We must continue to search out who we want on the basis Wilf is only going to join us if he gets no other offers. If when he decides and wants to sign for us we will either say no we have replaced your position or ok but these are our terms. For me there is now very little chance that he will come back to Palace .COYP

Darren Ambrose (who knows Wilf well) just said on talksport that Wilf is not on honeymoon, he is at Palace getting treatment on his injury.

We need to move on from Wilf now, this is turning into a circus when we should be preparing for a new season. The last 12 games we looked better when he wasn’t on the park.

Don't let your memory deceive you too much...

Remember that when we had those 30 odd shots in a half vs Leicester, scored 4 vs West Ham, beat Bournemouth, Wilf was on the pitch and contributing heavily.

We looked pretty toothless vs Forest, Everton and Wolves when he wasn't playing.

The only times we looked decent in attack without him playing were vs Leeds and Southampton and most of the league took them to town.

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

Was like watching Hodgson's team from a couple of years ago.

If, as previous poster put Wilf is having treatment, then he's looking to be available asap, and pass a medical. Time will tell, but does look like he's left.

I doubt it very much , he is no longer a Palace player why would they be treating him . Thought he was on his honeymoon .
