I reckon we will get him. No insider knowledge, just got a good feeling that within a week we will have Sakho ,a decent keeper, 3 points and things will be looking better.

According to the Times and Mirror plus a number of others, Palace are going in with a bid to Liverpool. Wimmer is the fall back position. However, some are reporting WBA going in with £30M bid. If SP does this, it will be a good bit of negotiation. Not so bad fall back position either. Hopefully get the favoured option over the line.

Very interesting next few days with WBA likely to sell Jonny Evans to City ,will have the funds to buy Sakho outright without various add ons.

The late WBA bid is an interesting one. Who are they going to sell Evans too? There's not really a queue of potential buyers lining up. If a selling club sells a player stating that its there interestion to buy another in the process it puts them in a poor negotiation position. Anyone else get the feeling Pulis is only showing an interest to frustrate Palace and push the price up.

I have absolutely no idea what the Sakho transfer situation is, but I do know that very few players have had such a positive impact over just a handful of games. It would be brilliant if Palace could sign him. The fact that there have been continuing rumours linking us with him since the end of last season suggest that we may have remained in contact with Liverpool. We know from last season that Liverpool are a tough club to negotiate with - why shouldn't they be, Sakho represents a big asset for them. However, I do wonder just how much say Sakho himself has in all of this? I recall reading last year during the Benteke transfer saga that if a player wanted a transfer to happen, it was 90% likely to happen. All very subjective, but it does give this Palace fan some hope to cling on to. We'll know for sure by this time next week, and meanwhile, here's hoping for three points this afternoon.

Think we will lose out on Sakho. WBA selling Johnny Evans for 25 mill. to Man City, they should be in pole position to sign him. Only worry about our svaiour from last season - his history of injuries (been quoted here before).

He has said he wants to come to Palace and if he really does eventually he will come as Liverpool are sitting on a diminishing asset so they will want to come to a deal but one that does not look like they have lost face

Good grief ! Read somewhere on newsnow thd following scenario. ...WBA sell Evans to man city close to deadlinde day, put in a late 30m bid for sakho. Sakho refuses to go to WBA. Liverpool are stuck with him unless they agree a cheaper deal with Palace who sakho has already agreed personal terms with.
