All that aside Chelski, i thought we did well on Saturday , and with some sharper finishing could have got something from the game. Your view ?
I think I heard your fans sing 2 or 3 songs all game whereas we carried on till the end. Is is embarrassing your own manager clapped us away fans but didn't bother with the home fans?

Our massive games this season are against our relegation rivals and as a club with a relatively low % of deluded supporters, we all know this is true.
Whenever I feel the need to exercise, I lie down until it goes away. |

The money (dont accept the dirty money nonsense) from our owner undoubtedly started the process but now we generate huge amounts of money ourselves. This grows yearly and puts us presently 5th in the money stakes world wide(as mentioned in an earlier posting). Like all businesses you have to invest initially and make loses before you see the profits of your investment. Including the passion of your fans and the soul of the football club? I have read Chelsea supporters since Saturday say that loyal supporters of many years have now been priced out of going to support their team at over £50 per match. Face it, Chelsea FC is now a business first and a football club second.

Edited by chelski (16 Dec 2013 2.08pm) Neither is the atmosphere when you play big teams. Not a massive game for us, why would it be? Just a local game, really. Mourinho said it himself, the support in the ground isn't good. If you just go to matches with the expectation of winning, I feel sorry for you. Going to football isn't all about winning, it's the camaraderie between supporters, meeting up with mates and sharing the experience, not just trophies and wins. I'd rather be on the rollercoaster that is Crystal Palace rather than the soulless club that is Chelsea. Whatever way you dress it up, the club has lost it's soul, and without that, football is pretty pointless.

You listen to each other too much lol

Ever been to a game where the majority of people around you are so emotional that they were crying because your team won??

Well I for one had a great day out at The Bridge last Saturday. A rare opportunity to have pre match drinks with my Chelsea supporting mates, a decent performance from Palace on the pitch and our fans created a great atmosphere in the stadium. The Chelsea contingent all agreed that the home support was poor - indeed they predicted it before the game ! But they are no different to most Premiership clubs going by my experiences this season. Man U - barely knew they were there, Liverpool - an impressive YNWA before lapsing into silence...blimey even West Brom have lost their voices since they established themselves ( or thought they had ). Frankly, I found the fans in the Championship to be more vocal and passionate. Probably because the results of the games are not the foregone conclusion they often are in the Premier. Had to laugh after the Anfield game when I asked a Liverpool fan why they were so quiet compared to how they used to be....'' we only sing in the big matches '' he said.....oh, right....
