I can't agree with that....no statue attacks from the left and there would have been no protest and hence no counter protest. When you actually look at the footage of that death, I don't see how they were sure it was murder and not a panicked reaction to the car being attacked. The footage shows that once the car was hit he accelerated....it could have been murder, it could have been manslaughter, it could have been him thinking he could scare the crowd away rather than reverse. And like the murder of Jo Cox (by a man with mental issues) it's something that gets dragged up over and over again as proof of the "rise of the far right". This has nothing to do with Tommy Robinson a single issue campaigner who does not espouse right wing political views (unless you consider free speech to be right wing) just criticism of Islam when nobody else in the public realm will do so. On the other hand you have the left that are happy to use and promote violence against conservatives whilst being cheered on by the mainstream media.

This wasn't a punch to the chops with a tragic conclusion in a fight by two willing participants. It's not even someone hitting their head on the pavement. this was someone being in control of a car, which we all know is far more potentially dangerous than a knuckle sandwich. My point was purely on the level of intent. He's been convicted for murder and to be honest from the footage, I'm not sure how they could be certain he intended it. From a brief look into it....it appears campaign funding for his defence was taken down and his lawyer was changed late on......I'm not sure this guy was given a fair trial.
