In terms of moving around the ground I recall supporters moving at half-time to behind the goal we were going to be attacking in the second half.
In those days, before the game teams used to enter the pitch separately - Big cheer for our team and boos for the opposition!
Furthermore none of this perfunctory 'Hand shake' ritual before kick off.

Respectfully I’m not sure how much of this I agree with.

First you say there were 50k diehards at Wembley A few years back.
I knew people who went to that game who hadn’t been since the cup final 25 years before! People were coming out of the woodwork trying to get tickets. Some weren’t even Palace fans.
To me a diehard is someone who turns up when we are playing Crewe etc.

Secondly, I don’t get why by we would get 30-35k every week by building a 40k stadium when we often don’t fill Selhurst which holds 26k
