Agree about a tough watch.
Roy to revert to type with no places for Jairo or Eze.
Schlupp restored to left of midfield and a defensive midfield selected.
Ayew to run like headless chicken up front, but working hard all the same.
Maybe it’s the right call as it’s a game we definitely don’t want to lose, especially after the last two results.
But I’d like us to try and get the early goal so they leave spaces in behind when they try to equalise.

2-0 to the home team. Eze and Riedewald to start on the bench. A midfield of MacArthur, Kouyate and Milivojevic is not much to work on for whatever striker (probably Ayew the headless chicken) Roy H. chooses.

We need a full squad and if Bats plays then no change to Wilf and Andros but if Benteke is picked we must have Wilf on the right and Andros on the left at LEAST when we start

you seem pretty confident that they will not score against us... - 3 predictions of a clean sheet! I'd take that at the moment - more chance of nicking a win.

Two defeats in a row to very pis# poor sides must have the Baggies licking their little lips at the prospects of an easy 3 points against us.
Have we the guts and courage to defend for our lives and hit them on the break to wipe the smile of their faces and shatter their very short revival??

Based on the comments in this thread, there does not appear to be much optimism apropos our chances of victory against a WBA team in the relegation zone.

Only one 'Clean sheet' in 18 games and not being prolific scorers is not an amalgam which encourages positivity.

In some ways it was a relief to see WBA victorious in their last match, otherwise we'd be heading into another game with a side desperate for their first win!

My thoughts exactly!

The way things are going I can see nothing other than a defeat with another blank up front

If Wilf plays as I assume he will we will win, if not I’m not optimistic.

it's funny how quickly we move from 'we're going to thrash Burnley' to 'No chance again WBA'. Despite my name I'm going to say we'll tonk 'em 0-3.

1 - 0 WBA. Same as Newcastle, we huff and puff for 80 mins with nothing to show. Then a back 4 mistake and WBA take all 3 points.
