There appears to be a substantial piece in one of the Spanish papers and it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he may want to be closer to his family after the last few months. Would be a real headache if there is any truth as we've all seen that keeping an unhappy player doesn't work.

You said that with VG in goal we had a better PPG - the implication being that it is down to him. We know you and many HOLers hate Hennessey so what anyone else says is irrelevant. Sorry but if VG stayed off his knees he might save the odd shot.

I never saw Paul Barron play for Palace but I did see him a number of times for my local team Welling United. The season we came 3rd in top flight they also had their best ever finish of 5th in the Conference with him in goal. It was a very enjoyable season seeing both my sides winning most weeks!
