The question is whether or not Luka can get his mojo back both in terms of passing and free kicks/corners.

Or a young Palace player who could step up? That reports references 90min.com From the article "90min understands that". This how fake news works, unverified source, list several clubs, more clubs more clicks. Right now, with no news conferences, they can say anything because the manager will not refute it.

Perhaps jeeagles hasn't seen him play over the last year and is thinking back to those halcyon days when Luka could pick good passes more often than not. The question is whether or not Luka can get his mojo back both in terms of passing and free kicks/corners. Fair comment. In comparison to McArthur, Luka, Kayoute it would be a big step up. I don't really think Kayoute should be played as a centre midfielder at all. I like McArthur too, I wish other players matched his effort. A bigger question remains about the decline in the basic ability of many of our players and our poor set peices. In terms of passing, it seems partly down to lack of movement amongst the team giving players on the ball no options.

With the injuries to Tomkins and Cahill, both of whom may well struggle to be back for the start of the new season, we may need to play him alongside Dann. I think McArthur is on the decline, sadly, and am not sure how much he will feature next season. You are right about the lack of movement. I seem to recall many occasions where a player looked up, couldn't see a forward pass, get closed down, pass sideways/backwards or even lose the ball. Occasionally there were some good interplay, often involving PvA and Wilf. As for McCarthy, I think he may have 2 years left on his contract and if so, I'm inclined to keep him for the coming year.

I think if we can make a few million in profit it’s a good move for everyone. He’s not quite good enough to displace our starters and I’d rather have Jairo coming off the bench.

As long as we avoid a midfield next season with McCarthy, MacArthur and Kouyate, I don't mind selling any of them. Make room for some creativity..hopefully!

Celtic in the mix now apparently One way or another, it does look like he will move on, at a decent price for a 29 year old. But what happens after, ie he does go, is the question...
