To quote Collins: “ If you describe something such as a piece of writing or a film as turgid, you think it is boring and difficult to understand.” I think you could describe our performances as boring and our tactics difficult to understand without too much bending of the meaning of the word. But if it keeps you happy, that is the main thing:-)

Strange, I thought the word turgid is quite applicable to our style of play. To quote Collins: “ If you describe something such as a piece of writing or a film as turgid, you think it is boring and difficult to understand.” I think you could describe our performances as boring and our tactics difficult to understand without too much bending of the meaning of the word.

But if it keeps you happy, that is the main thing:-)

Quite possibly, but much will depend on the team he puts out and the way the team plays. One can already hear the "one swallow doesn't make a summer" should that unlikely event occur.
Our last home win against them was in May 1991. I don't see today's squad changing that statistic, despite our first and surprise victory over them in the Prem earlier this season.
