Was it just me? Wilfs goal, his second, bought back warm memories of Wrighties goal at Wembley,1990 when he cut in from the left to score past Leighton. If he is playing for a move then good luck to him but playing higher up the park will give him more opportunity to score. Well played all the weekend. I just love it when we beat Moan U. Great to see him as captain. He should keep it. Suits him.

They are such a bunt hard of mugs, ‘major upgrade on Pepe’! How much did they pay for him and how much did they offer us for Zaha?

bit of a left-field theory, or not, but I can't help wondering if Zaha's newfound composure in front of goal has something to do with no fans in the stadium and therefore less pressure on hi finishing? Zaha responds to the atmosphere more than other players (for better and worse), and a lot of the time he so pumped he fluffs his chances.

He is definitely a calmer player when he hasn’t got the distraction of thousands of fans giving him stick.
