Ok, bring on the kids.

Roy could have 10 subs and only use 3. No chance we will see any of the young talent against this lot. Luka might only be it but even then it might be stretching it.

Totally outclassed, but did we expect anything else. Nice to know we're safe from the drop.

liverpool in total control since first minute.

i wouldnt be suprised if roy asked wilf to go down if he knew he wasnt going to get the ball to save him.

Liverpools best starting 11 was never going to be easy at home. I don't think anyone seriously thought we had a chance of winning, nobody to hold the ball up, so it comes straight back, now no Zaha to take the ball up the pitch.
One of those free hit games, just hope we get no more injuries.

We were never going to setup and play like we did against Bournemouth, Liverpool are a completely different proposition. There is a reason they are 20 points clear at the top of the table.

I don't think we have been that bad. Fist goal was very good. and second was simply Salah doing what Salah does very well.

No shame in our performance.

Every time I think we can afford to lose Wilf in the summer a game like this shows how much of an outlet he is on the counter. His ability to keep possession when outnumbered buys time for other players to get forward on the counter.

What I never get against decent opposition like this is. Why not have a go at them ? Yes we will leave ourselves open, but at least bloody try. It’s disappointing watching a team have zero attacking play and just sit back and try and defend against a very good attacking team. We would wrote this game off before it even started so at least have a go and try. Disappointing . I ain’t bothering with second half going to stare at a snail in the garden. Hopefully see a bit of action

Sky have Redknapp and Souness as pundits, Carra on the commentary and Barnes as a pitch side reporter.

Where's the balance lads?

So predicable!

The anti Hennessey brigade blaming him.

1. Ayew gave away an unnecessary foul in a dangerous position
2. The wall was lined up to cover the right and side, so Hennessey covered the left
3. It was a very good kick.

More dubious was his punch out when they hit the post.

We have nothing in the cupboard, move on.

And as for the zaha comments. He’s average on his day great but how many great days a season does he have ? Not enough to warrant building a team around him. I think his time at the club is prob a couple of seasons over now. Sell and start developing a team that can attack and shoot. All we ever do is score free kicks, Mediocre tap ins. We don’t have players that regularly shoot at goal and on target. Sorry palace are not great. Placed in the league at the moment I think is flattering for us. Based on a old Pulis/woy team that just defends and hopes to get lucky. Boring

Even against lower teams are tactics are the same. It’s no wonder we hardly score goals When we set up to get bummed

Sky Sports News have got Clinton in the studio. Hardly balanced, though

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

that was never a foul.

Sky sports commentary "Van Dyke 'made sure' he got the penalty". To the rest of us, he threw himself on the ground in the most dramatic way possible a la Salah. Nice to see Wayne hasn't forgotten his old habits of punching or heading the ball straight to the opposition.
