Good, professional performance. Two early goals set the tone and while I'm never able to relax watching us play (we could be 10-0 up and I'd still be worried about a comeback), the lads did a good, steady job and could even have knicked a third at the end. Nothing at all wrong with that performance, it's good to be back!

I'm the same. I can always see a dramatic comeback from the opposition. Now its over though we can compliment Palace on a controlled win in a match they never looked like loosing

A good morale boosting performance.

Received a lot of favourable comments from all on the Beeb and Shearer and Wright were both talking sense about our performance across both halves.

Hopefully we can put in a similar performance onWednesday.

half the squad have let their hair grow long.

Good result but a bit disappointed the way we sat back in the second half. If we had gone for it we probably would have been good for 4 or 5. Good contribution by Zaha for the second goal but apart from that he wasn’t great. If he thinks someone is going to pay £50M+ for him based on that performance he is mistaken. His end product is nonexistent.

Obviously suits the lads playing with disinfected balls.

That's gotta sting!

Got to be pleased with that . We looked up for it from the off and cruised the 2nd half with the game won in the first .
Defence rock solid again which gives the team a platform to play ,just wish they would a bit more .

We played better than I thought we would and Bournemouth were poor for a team trying to stay in the Prem. Boys looked good and well organised. Roy was obviously not overstating it when he said the boys had done really well to keep in shape during the lock down.
42 points and in a comfortable position. Just the small matter of spoiling the Scousers' party on Wednesday - but then we were the last Prem team to win there (April 2017 when Tekkers scored - really he did!)
The wife will be happy tonight as well - I'll make sure of that!
Night Night lads>

That performance can’t be faulted, especially after that long break.

4 wins on the bounce and 4 clean sheets.

Hodgson has this team running just nicely.

There are a lot of games coming up, first game back so no need to expend more energy than required. Once we went 2-0 up, it was game over. We haven't let a goal in for 6 hours of playing and Bournemouth didn't trouble the defence.
