12min 32 into this one John Hughes special it looks like its v wolves though his famous one I thought was in the 5-1 at home to Sheff Utd who were a few points clear at the top in nov dec time

Yes, you're right about yogi. That goal was against Sheffield United.

What some great goals on some mud heaps of pitches including Selhurst.
Have to say I am sure he did score a goal similar to the Wolves goal shown against Sheffield United as we were in the Old Stand in the terrace at the bottom before it was all seated.

I recall that game against Chelsea in the Coca Cola cup in the 90s played in a downpour and on a mud heap.rank Sinclair's backpass stuck in the mud and Coleman ran in to fire past the goalkeeper.Grant Watts got the winner as we won 2-1.

I cannot remember Grant Watts, he couldn't have played much, or I'm losing my mind. Which is a distinct possibility.

Grant Watts only featured in a handful of games way back in the 90s.A local lad.

As with a lot of our youngsters, he ended up playing quite a lot of games for Bromley

Yes I was at that QPR game in 1982 when Clive Allen rang the length of the pitch to wind the Palace fans up, had to get the horses on the pitch to stop a pitch invasion.

Never liked QPR to this day because of that match joins Watford and Brighton of teams I particularly dislike!! COYP

they failed!!

I’ve always hated Clive Allen since that day, even though when he’s a pundit or co-commentating I actually quite like him, if that makes sense

That was quite a day. Real 80s football. I was only young - one of my first matches. I guess it's not entirely Allen's fault that he was rubbish for us. Dodgy deals galore. My biggest gripe was losing Sansom.

He WAS top scorer in the season he had with us but we were relegated that season well adrift of the team just above the line - which was Brighton !

Enjoyed watching the play off final against Watford in its entirety. Here are some thoughts. Forgot Yannik didn't appear at all, KG not lasting 15 mins, O'Keefe good replacement, Jedi played in Turkey before joining us and may of gone in 30 mins with VAR, Watford player would certainly of gone in extra time, no chance of Watford fielding 10 plus loanees now, Delaney was awesome at the back, Garvan's distribution was dreadful but he was still here longer than Ollie, Ollie popped his shoulder after the goal, Wilbraham gave his best but was no Muzza. Overall a brilliant day in the sunshine. COYP !!
