When the football recommences all hospitality and POSSIBLY refreshment sales should be cancelled, but certainly the restaurants etc. You attend, bring water in or food if diabetic etc and leave afterwards. This should’ve been instructed before postponing games.

One can only speculate as to whether leagues lower down the pyramid than the PL and EFL will also take such a decision. Very small crowds should be allowed to continue at whichever level that is or they limit the attendance to half capacity as well as letting these smaller attended matches go ahead.

If the season isn't completed perhaps clubs could start the next season with the points they already have from this season. Okay I know it won't happen but it would at least mean this season's results aren't completely nullified.

So who gets to play in Europe next year? Sadly as it stands now there will be no Europe football next year, everything will have to go on hold that is until a vaccine is found, the infections will never really go away until a vaccine is found, meaning that the vulnerable will remain vulnerable for possibly over a year sadly.

At this juncture one can only guess at what will happen, so here's my tuppence worth (If it's even worth that much): Whilst it may be sometime next year before a vaccine is widely available, I can't see sport being off the agenda until that happens. More likely that those who are at risk will be advised to avoid sporting and other gatherings.

I suspect you are right about the league cup many of the big boys would love to pull out but don't want the fan backlash. The virus might be a good opportunity for the PL to house clean other stuff using it as an excuse.

Maybe they’ll finish the season, start next season later, scrap the winter break, some other cramming or fixture changes. See what develops virus wise and recommending fixtures this season. More tinkering with the cups?
