When the football recommences all hospitality and POSSIBLY refreshment sales should be cancelled, but certainly the restaurants etc. You attend, bring water in or food if diabetic etc and leave afterwards. This should’ve been instructed before postponing games.

One can only speculate as to whether leagues lower down the pyramid than the PL and EFL will also take such a decision.

Very small crowds should be allowed to continue at whichever level that is or they limit the attendance to half capacity as well as letting these smaller attended matches go ahead.

If the season isn't completed perhaps clubs could start the next season with the points they already have from this season.

Okay I know it won't happen but it would at least mean this season's results aren't completely nullified.

At this juncture it will be up to the lower leagues to decide whether to suspend or continue.
Some of the non-league clubs could actually benefit from higher attendances on account of the PL and EFL suspending their games.

So who gets to play in Europe next year?

Sadly as it stands now there will be no Europe football next year, everything will have to go on hold that is until a vaccine is found, the infections will never really go away until a vaccine is found, meaning that the vulnerable will remain vulnerable for possibly over a year sadly.

If they've all had the virus then yes.

At this juncture one can only guess at what will happen, so here's my tuppence worth (If it's even worth that much):
1. Matches unlikely to start before late June at earliest.
2. Teams will have to play two matches a week until the season is complete (end July/early August?)
3. Precedence will be given to European and UK domestic leagues to finish their programmes ahead of completion of the European club competitions as the leagues are the lifeblood of football
4. New Season starts sometime in September
5. League Cup and international breaks will be dropped for next season to allow league games to be played and the new season to finish in time for the delayed Euros to be played in summer of 2021. (This may lead to the League Cup being reasonably quietly got rid of).

Whilst it may be sometime next year before a vaccine is widely available, I can't see sport being off the agenda until that happens. More likely that those who are at risk will be advised to avoid sporting and other gatherings.
So that's my starter for 10. You're welcome to rubbish it, but I thought I would get us thinking.

Sounds logical. I suspect you are right about the league cup many of the big boys would love to pull out but don't want the fan backlash.

The virus might be a good opportunity for the PL to house clean other stuff using it as an excuse.

They've been way way too slow to act but then again what do you expect from idiots that run the country, Trumps doing exactly the same.
Got to slow the thing down, otherwise the NHS is going to explode, by doing nothing means a lot of people being ill at the same time, hence boris fusk face saying families are going to lose loved ones, because he now knows he's f***ed it .... all because of money.

Maybe they’ll finish the season, start next season later, scrap the winter break, some other cramming or fixture changes. See what develops virus wise and recommending fixtures this season.

I personally don’t care that much but would like to see Brighton finish relegated but Liverpool not given the title. Hmmm. Decisions. Therefore Liverpool not given the title and Potter relegate Brighton next season.

More tinkering with the cups?
FIFA/UEFA happy to f*** around with fixtures to accommodate Qatar, so must be duty bound to help National Leagues

All air travel should have been banned weeks ago, which may have assisted in the spread.
They are cancelling all sporting events and recommend people work from home but my wife who works for Border Force has been face to face with passengers from all over the World. One person even approached her desk with their passport in their mouth. WTF
As an aside, the only protection Border Force staff are getting is gloves and hand sanitiser. If it is as bad as they say, perhaps airports should be closed but of course big business talks
