Going down for palace would be disastrous surely that’s obvious. I can’t see the positives here. If for example say BHA go down, they don’t implode, they have the infrastructure in place and a chairman/fan/benefactor to support them. What do we have?

We would be screwed.

There is a difference between "positives of relegation" and "positives of relegation in our current state". There are NO positives in the latter given our financial situation, first team squad age, wages, ownership issues etc. We could find ourselves in League 1 (Or even 2) before we know it.
Let's support our team to get to the safety points target ASAP and wait for Roy to loosen up and let us have a few more open games like we've had at the end of recent seasons.

Really? Being mid-table in the world's top league and seeing the cream of the top footballers at Selhurst in a full and atmospheric stadium? How awful...much better to be scrabbling about playing scunthorpe I guess.

Firstly the stadium is not particularly atmospheric anymore, partly due to the Premier League novelty wearing off/stagnant mid table with nothing to realistically aim for. Hopefully this will change with safe standing.

To be honest I couldn’t give a toss who we are playing. I don’t come to gawp at Salah and Aguero. I come to support Palace. Saturday mornings and Sunday games are not as fun as a Saturday 3pm.
I’d rather be able to get a ticket for scunthorpe than not be able to get one against Man City on Sunday lunchtime.

Anyway, we need to stay up this season due to finances and I think we will quite comfortably. Major rebuild needed at the start of summer.

I hope we stay up. Then perhaps SOMETHING can be sorted in the off season. We have a £72m wage bill whereas the Weed have one of £31m, a great little stadium and a sugar daddy.

I fear if we go down it'll all implode.

Sorry, I'd like to be optimistic but with things as they are......

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Great little stadium!

F@cking awful place.
Devoid of any character or atmosphere

As a fan who’s seen us play in the 3rd division and who goes regardless of what division we’re in or who we’re playing against, I know if we are relegated, come July I’ll be looking forward to next season a lot more than if we stay up. It’s all become a bit turgid and stale at the moment and relegation will freshen it up for me, new manager, completely different team, different style of play hopefully. Yes it could end up a financial disaster and we’re not guaranteed a decent season, but after 7 years slugging it out in the premier league, I’m bored with it now.

They’re not positives, just how I feel as a fan, someone who doesn’t have to worry about the financial side of it as I don’t run the club, someone who just goes to watch the football, someone who just goes to watch palace, not who we’re playing against.

Relegation is the last thing our club needs and the consequences don't bare thinking about...we'd be in the s*** for years.

Parish and Greedman need to have a long hard look at themselves in the mirror and really understand where the £1bn from the premier league has really gone. This £1bn doesn't include the extra revenue from ST's, shirt sales and the sale of players such as AWB and Yannick over those seven seasons.

We need to stay up by hook or by crook this season. Roy needs to move to DOF and Doug needs to f*** off.

Roy needs to be replaced but not really sure who with though, or who would want the job with SP's track record of managers.

We need to bin Benteke and Sakho to reduce the wage bill, Wilf will go in the summer and then we need to recruit younger hungry players.

The new stand needs to be put on hold until we're on a more stable financial footing.

The atmosphere will only come back when we play better football and our home form improves.

We will be f***ed if we get relegated.

By the way, whats happened to Jamesy haven't anything from him for a while?

I wonder what prospective manager would come in with RH hovering in the background?
