Great signing really impressed when he played against us a couple of years ago. I take it this is a joke? Its hard to tell on this site. Everton have offloaded him becuase the new manager has realiesed what most Everton fans have known for the past 3 years. He isnt very good and they were well and truley had when they paid £27m for a Chamionship grade player.

I hope Ayew does not get the hump as he has been one of our bright spots this year. Presumably he will now start on the right, where he looked quite good when Wickham came on to play centrally last week Given how thin our attacking options are, we'll have no problem accommodating them both. Maybe even as a pair up front sometimes.

If he is only Championship quality our defence must be worse than that as one of his most recent goals was against us

After he signed for Everton the season before last, he never scored in his first 4 games but then scored 5 in his next 10 games so a 1:2 ratio is commendable. Silva replaced Allardyce, who signed Tosun, and Silva brought in Richarlison for a deal worth up to £50 Mill including add-ons.

Please get things in perspective... Alexander Sorloth looks good in the Turkish League. Now offload Benteke and I will be happier.

Ings suffered serious knee injuries and I think he was out for a couple of years. When he recovered he was in competion with Firmino,Saleh,Mane and Sturridge, He went to Southampton on loan with view to a permanent transfer and signed for them for £20 Mill.Hodgson gave Ings his England debut.

I really hope he starts tomorrow but you know what Roy's like. He'll probably be on the bench.

Hopefully he comes here with fire in his belly to prove Everton wrong. We play a different style to Everton, so he could work out here. I'm always happy to give anyone a chance and the club has had plenty of time to decide if they think he will fit. Quite frankly, with our injuries anyone with experience is welcomed at this point and it leaves us plenty of time to turn our attention to other areas of the squad. Before he signed I predicted he'd arrive and then come off the bench and score the winner tomorrow. Now that would definitely help us forget he didn't want to come here two years ago!! Lots of debate about him and Niasse ...

I hope he does well here but I can only assume that there is a loan fee, we're paying his wages and then the rumoured agreed purchase fee is £17m. Given his record over the last couple of seasons, that seems to be a ridiculous agreed fee. The only hope that gives me is that if he's valued at £17m still, Benteke must be worth £10m still.

The majority of Everton fans said he just didn't fit into Silva's style and was never given a chance to prove himself, also lots saying he was just too slow and not good enough at pressing defenders, but when he did have the ball he was very good with it with shooting and passing and bringing others into the game.
