I seem to remember a similar start profile for Meyer. Even though he came to us as a top player he has never been given a run even though he seems really good. I dont get it. Camerasa hasn't even had a start yet. Maybe this weekend if Luka is out.
If it were me I would somehow try Cama and Meyer, but Im not manager and I would recommend Roy any day over me!!. I suppose I just dont really understand the fine detail.

If we were bottom of the table and struggling then I could argue with Roy but we are doing well so there can be no complaints.

Every manager has a system and certain players fit that system and it is unfortunate that Meyer and Camarassa don't fit in, but with regards to Meyer he has had plenty of minutes on the pitch and has shown absolutely nothing to say he should be a starter.

Why use a loan slot up then?

Until the player is seen in training, it’s always going to be a gamble with any signing. Roy obviously doesn’t think he can improve his team, whereas Cahill he knew from England and starts.

Because he will get a game if we have lots of injuries. He was brought in as back up.

Well, did not get many minutes vs Norwich, but it was his clever pass that allowed Wilf to go on his amazing run that Andros ended with 2-0.
But Meyer and Camarassa are way ahead for Schlupp in my opinion. Guys with football brains knowing how to use it.

Funny thing is thai I really rate Schluppie. I know I’m the minority but clearly on same page as Roy on this one.
Thinking about my earlier comments re Cama and Meyer. Didn’t they start against Colchester? Maybe Roy saw enough that night.

While Roy is manager it’s unlikely we’ll see too much of Camarasa or Meyer.
Meyer has tried to adapt to Roy’s system on his opportunities but has not set the world alight.
Camarasa had some success in the Premier League and looks more likely to handle the physical aspects.
However, he has Luka, Mcarthur, Kouyate, McCarthy , Schlupp and dare I say Meyer ahead of him so it would take a major injury crisis from him to get an opportunity.
Perhaps a case of the right player at the wrong time?

Shown nothing apart from virtually setting up our second against Norwich.
Passed forwards with two on him.
Wilf crosses and Andres boshes.
Him and wilf seem to read each other well when I've seen him play centre left.
90 minutes might be out of reach atm but 30 would give him time to shine.

Schlup's value has been discussed at length else where. I saw VC play 90 mins v Colchester, and he hardly set the world alight (and Max was even worse).
Roy is in charge and I trust his judgement. He sees these guys train day in day out. The football may not be pretty but it is very effective.

Agree regarding Colchester. Team of fringe players , with their chance to show what they had, none of them even looked interested or put in the required effort. A massive opportunity to players that never played on the weekend at old trafford, inc Townsend, Benteke, Meyer and Camarasa. All toilet.

I like Meyer and would like to see him getting longer as a sub, but saying he virtually set up our second v Norwich is stronging it a bit mate.

It's not at all. He went forward with a clever pass instead of going backwards as we had been all half. It's the kind of thing he can do and we need to see more.
