When discussing our midfield players it’s hard not to point out one who needs a rest.

I used to dig out Schlupp on the regular too, but he turned me around with taking his chances for goals and his all around improvement.

Sorry to point it out but based on that criteria Macca deserves some criticism.

Many think Schlupp is rather careless with distribution and I agree and almost every one of our players has been criticised for being silly with scoring opportunities ...not just McArthur who when you look at the teams performances on the pitch stands out as a positive for me every single time he plays.

Schlupp and JM are both good players.Roy and Ray have managed to get a tune out of JS that most on these boards didn’t think existed and improved him as player rather than dismiss him as a championship left back who we paid too much for.

Personally couldn’t give a monkeys who starts out of Meyer, JM and Schlupp as there’s little in it. It’s a squad game.

i have to say...i was sceptical of schlupps signing, it was expensive and big on wages.

however, it has to be said, whenever called upon he has done a solid if not spectacular job, which is fine.

it has been mooted he is the best finisher at the club, and has chipped in with a few goals.

i have changed my opinion on him, he in my eyes is now a solid versatile player who when called upon does a solod job.

however, i would rather max start in front of him, but thats not my call, its roys...and in my eyes roy can do nothing wrong whatsoever.

Careful now, you've made fair criticisms of both SP and Hodgson in a short space of time. That's thoughtcrime around these parts...

That's not really a valid reason on a discussion forum.

Eddie The Eagle can ski better than I can so does that make him immune from criticism?
