Got to be a wind up. Nobody could be this dense. Exactly. It's like people that still believe Bono is being serious about Africa.

The new Dave Madden? He does take a good penalty.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Meh......I don't see anything special. He still can prove himself though, just don't feel like he has yet. The team could have played just as well with anyone there instead of Milivojevic. Yes, you could argue that since he arrived the result have gotten better. But I think that's because of other factors: the team finally playing with a left footed leftback (PVA or Schlupp), Townsend and Zaha playing on the right sides, Cabaye and Puncheon doing a lot of pressing..... Milivojevic is highly rated by many of you, but let's just give him a full season before we make an ultimate judgement. Same thing with Sakho, please don't argue to spend 20 million+ on him just based on 10 matches. Yes of course Mattteo we could have played just as well with Ledley, Sako or recalled 'Mutch the magnificent' from his loan spell that would have worked just as well! For you to say 'Meh...I don't see anything special' is bo**ocks and is just typical of you and most of your other posts.

From a man, who thought Southampton had been turned over and wasted their money on Gabbadinni. I've given my opinion on 500+ football players over the past years and I've been right in more than 480 times. If I've made a mistake about Gabbiadini it remains to be seen. Time will tell. He's had an amazing start to his English career, no question about it, but my concerns were of the long run. I knew he also had the numbers in Italy (a lot of goals and assists in few minutes of playing time), but he seemed like a player who doesn't run. Maybe he was just upset and not in the mood in the times I saw him play in Italy. But usually, the players who don't put effort in 1 match, don't put effort in any match. If I was wrong about Gabbiadini, so be it. Nobody is perfect. Like I've told you, I'm usually right. We'll see how Gabbiadini does in the long term. I am still concerned with his overall game. Messi also has the numbers at Barca, but his overall contribution is lacking and you can see this in away matches. Is it worth it? For Messi, perhaps. For Gabbiadini? We'll see. Also take into consideration that I said Gabbiadini was not good enough AT THE 17 MILLION they paid. For now, it seems that he was worth it. But please keep in mind I didn't say he's a bad player and if he had been bought for less than 5 million I would have considered it a good acquisition. So if I'm wrong about him, it's just because I wouldn't have spent that much money on an Italian player. I'm only judging players at a certain value. Like someone said on the previous page, I'd prefer Mbemba over Sakho. Yes, I''d prefer 5 million Mbemba over 20-30 million Sakho. I feel that he can provide pretty much the same thing without throwing away the rest 15-25 million, so that that money s better used somewhere else. No doubt Sakho is a player with better contributions in the last year and this makes him a better player than Mbemba or Zambrano or Kabasele or Papadopoulous or others I've mentioned, but I'm not comparing them at the same price.

All of which is why you're as likely to be a (real world) football manager as I am the first astronaut to step foot on Jupiter. Edit: Unless, of course, you are actually Pardew. Step right up, ladies and gentlemen: it's time to play 'Mattteo: Troll or Fool?' Neither, I think "Wind up merchant" which is not quite the same thing as a troll. "Troll" is a term I'd use as a term of offence, whereas "Wind up merchant" is about the biggest compliment there is in my book.

Don't take it personally - 'Willo: Troll or Fool' is into its 95th series and it's getting tedious now. Got to freshen things up.
